From "Parks & Recreation": a mockumentary series following Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Leslie is determined to improve her small world through her job, despite resistance from Parks Director Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), an anti-government Libertarian. I really like Adam Scott's role as Ben Wyatt. He is too often casted as the jerk, which he is REALLY good at. I am surprised to see how well he played a goody two shoes.

I first saw him in Secret life of Walter Mitty - where he plays similar character, Ted with funny beard. With one difference - while Ted clearly enjoys shutting down companies, Ben doesn't. That's why I started liking him from his very first appearance in Parks and Rec.

Ben is my favorite… I love how Nerdy he is…. My favorite of Ben are: Ben in the Batman costume (Donna saying.. “uh oh Batman’s crying”) Ben walking in saying “I’m dying”… then it turns out to be the calzones… All accounting firm scenes… “More like Terd Craply” “I ran the numbers; and they got a lot higher… the computer started laughing at me”

Fact: Those waffles would have tasted amazing dipped into the chicken soup. Edit: Another Fact: Ben Wyatt helped normalize male friends having spa days and sharing emotions healthily escalated...as well as insane politicians babbling. People can be in healthy relationships without sharing the same interests. He wouldn't necessarily be attracted to someone who's as nerdy as him, and she wouldn't necessarily be attracted to someone who's bubbly and extroverted like she is.
