I just wanted to say that the sneak peek of the new office was fantastic during the sponsor ad. Cannot wait to see the final walkthrough. As far as these crazy Benchmark bottles, they are surprisingly good. I agree the Top Shelf is crushable.

Tried the 8 and BIB. Both were good but just bought the Full Proof today. The Full Proof tastes great and like this the best out of the Benchmark selection. Bad thing is in Atlanta the price has increased from $19.99 to $24.99. May have to grab an extra bottle before these prices increase anymore.

Totally agree that on it's own Top Floor is an amazing bottle BUT as soon as you blind rank them it will drop WAY down. We have sampled and reviewed all of them and did a full line blind that will be coming out this Thursday. We were surprised at the results but then again not really. Interested to see how your blind of the lineup matches up.

Being a newbie, Top Floor is perfect. Easy to sip, only $14.99 at Binny's and $13.99 at Woodmans. You guys are really entertaining.

I've tried them all and I don't like any of them. There is something really weird about them. They taste nothing like Buffalo Trace. Old Forester 86 destroys these.

This is a drain pour for me. Had a large group over and we sampled all of the lineup. No one person thought any were good and top floor ended up getting poured out in the yard lol.

Trace is $50 in Jersey, top floor is $18. Also, just saw regular Blantons there for $150. Never paying that. Anyway, I’ll buy top floor a 1000 times before I pay $50 for trace. 4 roses single bare is $45, and it’s wayyyyy better.

Here is a stupid guess. BT expanded production in 2016. Maybe this lineup is a stop gap of that extra (4-6 year) stock that will move to "higher shelf" bottlings as it is maturing.

I have seen these 750ml showing up in the stores out here in AZ finally. I have had the regular and the Barrel Proof. They are pretty good for the price point so far. Thanks for checking out the Top Floor. Was one of the next ones I wanna get. At some point, I am going to grab all of them and blind flight it.

Holy hell I am so excited someone else thinks this is awesome. To me Top Floor is the 2 buck Chuck of to whiskey world. I got candy corn, Mexican vanilla & A&W draft root beer. I think they have to proof it down to keep it from being overwhelming. Totally agree it’s better than BIB. Great low proof heavy flavor whiskey for old fashioned’s. I put it right up there with 1910 as a desert whiskey.

I have to wonder with BT building and filling all of those rick houses, if this is simply hedging their bets or a way to introduce a line to convert some of those barrels to cash? This is potential Eagle Rare, Stagg, GTS, EH Taylor, Old Charter or even Buffalo Trace. Most states even Buffalo Trace is hard to find let alone those other bottles. Personally I would prefer they produce enough Eagle Rare so I can find it on the shelf at retail on the regular.

I think they’re training our appetites to appreciate younger, weaker bourbons so when the time comes we’ll be used to it already and not miss the older, superior products when they start phasing them out. All the new Rick houses they’re building cannot support the massive demand.

We had these all in Indiana a year before everyone else and I consistently heard this was the worst of the new 5. Seems the common consensus is that full proof and bonded are the only two worth buying.
