Remember how setting Time and Currency to English (World) during the installation removes the bloat? It actually also stops Edge from coming back (Also, please update Security Intelligence. It hasn't been updated since 2020)

I've been using many different custom builds of Windows 10 for a long time now, and after testing them all I have made a full circle back to Ghost Spectre builds as I think they are just the best all around. Today I'm going to start testing windows 11 builds. So can you tell me what exactly Rectify11 is, why I might want it and might NOT want to use it? I'm at the Ghost Spectre Windows 11 setup screen and I am surprised at how many choices there are now. I appreciate all that you do! Update: I tried the Rectify installation, and I couldn't use start menu, settings or pretty much anything besides file explorer, and it skipped the usual windows setup process. I then reformatted and used the Superlite without defender, which is what I used for all previous Windows 10 builds, and I was stuck on a login screen with no way to get passed it.
Oh my gosh! Rectify Windows 11 Ghost Spectre 22H2 is the next GOAT especially with Superlite although it takes a bit more RAM Usage. I realized that Windows 10 is more stable compared to Windows 11 no matter what OS build number is which is why it's slightly faster overall in terms of benchmarks and boot time. However, Windows 11 might soon be the best and soon overpower Windows 10 as it has given us more security patches and large improvements. It depends on you, Windows 10 for the performance and 11 for personalization or the latest updates. I wouldn't go back to the previous Windows OS for around a 3-5FPS increase though. Thank you Ghost Spectre for creating such Superlite ISOs for us, Microsoft wouldn't even stand a chance. Keep doing what we want you to complete! For reduced processes, it is related to the registry ( SvcHostSplitThresholdInKB is involved ). My registry tweaks are the same as your new Ghost Mode reduced processes.
Would you please make a video comparing all the variants in your iso? It would really help a lot of people to understand the differences and which one is they need.

Love the modified OS! I am having an issue where MS edge will install itself after a week or two of running though. I use ghost toolbox to remove it again but it would be great if there was a way to stop that permanently in a future release.
I doubt that to be possible, it has to do with MS itself, what could work is that, once uninstalled, create empty files with the same name (has to be exact) as the installation folders, then apply RHS attributes via CMD, then under permissions remove the SYSTEM. BOOM! Subsequent Edge installs will fail

Suggestion: Please add Chocolatey Installation option in GhostToolbox (included with the allowGlobalConfirmation parameter) Problem: I have been having this problem that when I reinstall Windows with your builds, and it reaches the desktop for the 1st time, the "Ghost Spectre" background video starts playing and I get a popup of Windows, asking me to confirm how to open a .bin file. I assume it's part of your scripts, because when that happens I don't receive the Warning Msg stating to reboot to apply changes. So, I can't tell windows how to open that .bin file, the script doesn't start, the "Ghost Spectre" background video doesn''t end until I force close it

I downloaded and unzipped the Latest Standalone Update archive on the "C" drive into the "osUpdater" folder (without spaces). But when I run the file "WIN11 UPDATER.exe", nothing happens. The window opens and closes immediately! Could you please tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Maybe someone has already encountered a similar situation?

I am somewhat worried about reduced memory and processess mode. What they do exactly? Can they limit OS functionality? I miss windows XP or win 7 times when you knew almost all processess in OS and knew what they do :(
I just ran some tests after overclocking the GPU, and the fps in low processes mode is the same in my benchmarks. Processes are reduced from 100 to 70 by default vs reduced memory with some basic startup programs such as nvidia control panel, discord, and sharex, but this has no effect on fps. With that said, my browser displayed page crashes for inactive pages after a while when clicking back in reduced memory, so I'm keeping default mode to avoid any issues because it has no effect on fps.

Love your ISOs. Do you know why Windows 11 has a delay of around 5-10 seconds when opening any app for the first time after a reboot? Opening video files and audio files with MPV, etc., makes this very annoying. Somehow, on normal Windows 11 from Microsoft around 1 month ago, I was able to fix this just by disabling Windows Defender. But now, even with your custom ISOs without Defender, this happens. Edit: It was my external ssd for some reason.
I'm sure it's not Ghost Spectre's fault. Microsoft's latest Moment 4 update might likely be the case as the new features as well as modern UI changes notably with file explorer and settings can have a significant overall performance impact ( slightly sluggish especially with file explorer which is not as smooth as before especially with the toolbar loading slowly ).

Guys, Rufus 4.5 beta has some bugs that make you unable to install the OS properly due to Windows not being able to prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. No solutions would be found so please do not use Rufus Beta version as I just commented or you have to use the 4.4 version. It took hours for me to realize this because it wasn't like this at all before that
At 9:35, I have the same problem with the task manager showing a sporadic list of "svchost.exe" instead of the proper names. It's like it fails to populate correctly. The new task manager, with buttons on the side, is still very buggy.
In these latest updates of the ghost iso, the programs take a long time to open, I went back to the original microsoft iso and the programs are opening quickly, I noticed that the performance has worsened with each update to 7.1 and 8.0v it is very slow.
Right click on windows defender proces and suspend. Easy. I tested same ghost 11 version both with defender and without on 12 years old pc it doesn't affect fps at all!
Mode 1: 4gb Mode 2: 8gb Mode 3: 16gb Depending on the RAM, if it is over 16gb you might have to search yourself on youtube relating to SvcHostSplitThresholdInKB
Ghost Spectre, I somehow kept getting the same error ( something didn't go as planned, undoing changes ). My theory is that it might be related to Windows Update because I accidentally click update in the official settings page. It has happened to me since update 13, it is a very weird issue though Edit: It was the freaking windows update that I have caused lots of time. Shouldn't have touched it ever again. Please update toolbox to remind people about windows updates
ghost spectre, dism or sfc commands woudln't work either. It's stuck at 62.3% when trying to restore the OS. I guess something's wrong with the windows update where sometimes getting full access to it after being paused to 2077 might be the cause.@@GHOSTSPECTRE

Yeah laptops are such a pain, I had an audio problem. I have to quickly disable windows update after a fresh install, and install all drivers manually except for the sound driver. If I install any sound driver or resume windows update laptop audio will stop working
It would be cool if you do the Windows Insider builds too. Because I've never seen people debloat the insider builds. And apparently, the volume mixer is back in those beta builds

Ghost Spectre, I have a suggestion for you. The next time you decide to make another ISO ( UPDATE 15 ), perhaps updating drivers including optional ones automatically in Windows Update will be nice. I don't want to brick my laptop by just resuming the updates to keep my drivers as well as the Dell firmware up to date. Also, you should make Ghost Spectre ISOs ( Windows 10 or 11 ) in variable ways instead of just combining them together into a big chunky one. For example, make a Ghost Spectre ISO with Superlite only and the other one with Rectify included. I have noticed that your UPDATE 14 ISO is unexpectedly larger compared to the Microsoft ones. Nevertheless, you have never failed us especially me as a networking nerd.

Hello Ghost Spectre, you should consider making Windows 11 ISOs ( each new update ) starting from this month maybe at least on the 15th of the month ( January for example then the same deadline for 11 other months each year ) between the start and end of the month. Obviously, in case there are any windows cumulative standalone updates like one in the second week and another in the third/fourth week ( especially one with security patches ), you should make one and don't worry, I won't force you to make one but I would also appreciate your hard-working as well as all the capabilities you have achieved in your lifetime, good luck and stay safe! Also for Ghost Toolbox, do you think they would mind seeing COVID-19 stay safe message whenever they open it? I'm really curious lol

Key feature as DDA (discrete device assignment) does not work on windows 11, but it can be exported from server 2022. So I've been doing some reading and watching various videos but I'm still unsure of what I wanna do. I have an upper mid range PC - 2080ti, 32GB DDR3 and a 9700K so I know that I won't see massive gains from using a custom OS but I haven't done this since the XP days and I thought it'd be cool do so. You and xos are my top two contenders, but there's also the question of Win10 vs 11. Sometimes 10 is still faster, sometimes not. Anyone able to share some thoughts and reasoning on how I should handle this? I wish I could see some Starfield specific stuff as that's my current thing and it doesn't run as well as I'd like with my CPU bottleneck so every frame counts.
@@longkimnguon9999 I hadn't really felt that Windows 11 offered much more in the way of personalization, and both have been stable in my experience, so my primary concern is almost strictly performance.

Theirs a massive bug on this build of Ghost Spectre Windows (I'm using the version with Rectify 11 & no windows defender) Everytime I open a folder it opens a new tab (not a new entire window but it creates a separate tab) on stock windows 11 if you open a folder it replaces your current tab with that one, & how it is now makes multitasking extremely difficult as going through directories will now create hundreds of tabs. As someone constantly opening folders I had to revert, please let me know when this is fixed as I loved the latency your ISO gave me!

Hi Ghost I have installed Windows 11 latest compact. When I click on bell icon on the taskbar then it shows dnd is on, even its off in settings. Any workaround to fix it? Even I disable it manually still it shows enabled to me if I click on the icon again.

Okay, that would be great! On my computer, on a test drive with refs, when there is a load on the drive, the cpu loads at 30%, when in a similar situation on ntfs 100% cpu load. Also in general, disc operations are about 20% faster overall@@GHOSTSPECTRE
No real problem, just wondering if anyone else had the bug where the default GHOST SPECTRE lock screen shows up as "Windows spotlight" instead of "Picture" And then when I change lock screen to custom "Picture" it appears as black instead sometimes when waking from sleep.
