It was a bit obvious. But I don't mind. As they say, if the audience can figure out an upcoming twist, it means your twist makes sense.

Hahaha, I tricked it by dying? That's the best he can come up with? I mean, sure, it might work for him but my videos are on a whole other level. I don't need to trick the system, I dominate it. When i can't sleep i get all cozied up -pjs, blanket, stuffies, tea - and rewatch Mark's FNAF episodes. It's the best

I think parts of the story are just very easy to guess. Like Audrey being Joey Drew’s daughter is low key cliche😂😂

To me this looks like Audrey is having a mental breakdown, and going on a murder spree against fellow employees of archgate/whatever they call it, and most of this game is just what she sees and not reality.. but I wish they had more opening sequence than just "Willson bad" this game is so shallow and feels like it has basically no plot to it. You're just trapped in Magic ink, no meaning. just ink.

@@jwalster9412 Honestly if they had made him actually a good guy that would've been even more cliche, the whole "misunderstood good guy" is overdone and if they had done it here with how Wilson was acting it would've honestly come off as forced. I actually appreciate the idea that they started off by making him seem like a bad guy, then the story makes you start to question if he's actually one of the good guys only to reveal his true intentions at the end, maybe thats just me more it was more of a surprise for me that he actually ended up being evil.

@@endereye964 Could you summarize the story of the first game, cause between the Let's Plays I watched, I got kind of lost towards the end. I think that's kind of holding me back from absorbing the story of this game.

@@cranberryrosebud Sure! Basically you play as Henry Stein, an animator returning to his old workplace after having been invited back by his old business partner-and friend-Joey Drew. After exploring the seemingly abandoned studio, Henry finds the Ink Machine and turns it on. This leads to a chain of events where Henry is jumpscared by the Ink Demon, falls through the studio floor-and then the rest of the game is him pretty much trying to escape the studio he’s become trapped inside. Each chapter falling deeper and deeper into the ink-stained studio, all while the Ink Demon actively hunts him. This leads to Henry in the final chapter of the game, being captured by Allison Angel and Tom Boris. Allison gives Henry a strange device-the Seeing Tool, which allows him to see hidden messages on the walls. Henry follows the messages, which guide him throughout the chapter. These messages lead Henry to the End Reel, an object that can supposedly kill the Ink Demon. After a boss fight, Henry plays the Reel and the demon seems to die after watching it-this is the ending that confused a lot of people, where Henry winds up in Joey Drew’s apartment. Joey gives him a little speech, talks about wanting to “show him something”-and then the door opens to the beginning of the game, where Henry steps through and repeats the same voice line- “Alright Joey, I’m here. Let’s see if we can find what you wanted me to see.” As for what the ending means-basically Henry is trapped inside a time loop, forced to live the same events over and over. The events of the game. This is flat out confirmed by Dark Revival. As Joey puts it- “This place is a cycle. An ink stained nightmare, stuck on repeat.” The Nightmare is Henry’s. We basically play through his torment in the first game. I hope this helped, and if you want me to go into more detail about anything, just ask. I tried to make this brief-and probably failed lol.

If the first game is Henry’s nightmare and a loop what’s the connection to THIS game since Henry is clearly not on anyone’s lips except Joey?

Yeaaaaah, I kinda feel the same as mark about this game WIth this and Security Breach I feel like both games went down the "oh lets make a big budget game" road, except they both feel empty and predictable as hell. Super stererotypicals villains, predictable plot twists, pointless collectibles and a lot of not very entertaining mechanics... Idk, maybe I just don't like the way they become similar to triple A games, but overall I feel like these licenses lost their charm

@@IceKyuubi Yep, on Dec 2nd TheMeatly released a mini update, where people can turn on a skin that gives most characters a Santa hat lol. This gives us a better idea of when Mark recorded this part after deciding to try it out.

I noticed something. When Pastra was playing, once he got to the city, he had to follow Bendy around as he pointed to different things for a while, but then, when Mark got there, Bandy just pointed to what he needed. Must have been an update.

@@Thechaosmaster1997 Bendy doesn't stay in one place pointing, if you go too far he'll follow you and point to something closer to you. Mark just coincidentally stopped around the right place and Bendy was there ready

lol what world building?? the story is super cliché and bad. you don't just drop the "I am your father" cutscene with no buildup! that's like something that needs to be hinted at the whole game. but it wasn't the game is superficial and filled with plot holes

6-7 years ago means you joined around the “Mark stares at a banana” time. I’m genuinely curious which fever dream Markiplier video made at that time convinced you to stay XD
