Bendy's Mysterious Footprints EXPLAINED! (Bendy & the Ink Machine Theories) 

I think Sammy Lawrence left the footprints. As you already said, the Bendy Cut-Outs and ink splatters at the walls point to him. Now about the boots, it could've simply been the case that Sammy didn't have his boots on shortly before he boarded up the room. Now to why he may not be wearing them, is maybe that he didn't want to make unnecessary noises, that could distract Henry. As heard in chapter two, when he walks past, he makes quite loud noises. If he would've been wearing the boots, while walking to the Ink Machine, Henry could've heard him. That is at least my theory.

I still believe that it might be one of the LostOnes, because they're the only ink people that walks with there bare feet, and therefore it make's sense. They don't want to spend their whole live's in captivity, working for Joey Drew... they want out, they want to go home, so in desperate attempts they boarded it up in the machine room, trapping the ink monster and hope for survival to make a getaway

Theory: it was a lost one that borded up the enterance to the room of the machine so that bendy would not come out and he ran at the room he came from cause lost ones are bare food and and also have 5 toes on each foot.Who agrees with this theory?

The footprints are only running in one direction and not running back, so whoever was there was already inside that room. They could've been created from the ink machine during this process. If it was a lost one or the two candidates Wally and Joey who boarded up the door, they would've run back and forth and we would see a multitude of footprints on the floor (unless theMeatly didn't add this in or could be explained later on). I'm not saying this is right, but someone was already in that room when the ink machine got turned on.

Here's a theory, my friend played this and used the find-a-hidden-word-thingy to look a one of the coffins...and Henry's name on it. So Henry is dead... My theory is that Henry is half ink person, his body is ink person but is spirit is human. That's why the ink doesnt take him back, and when ink bendy gets you and you're in the tunnel is when Henry fully is ink person. His spirit is more human than ink person, so that's why they need him for the ritual. Edit: Whenever I look back on this comment, I realize a lot of what I wrote is definitely not right and wonder what the heck I was thinking when I wrote this

Okay, so Sammy was there even before Henry showed up and turned on the ink machine. And when he walked into that wall there when Henry was searching for a way out, there was a Bendy thingy that was on the wall Sammy walked into. I think that Sammy used those Bendy thingies to board up the place, that's part of my explanation. Joey is not Bendy because if he was, then why was he there even though Bendy faded away after seeing "The End." ? We never saw anything left of him. It's clear. Henry got to Joey's place by obviously fainting again and then was transported after somebody found him in time. That SOMEBODY was probably a character from the warehouse that used to be a lost one or a searcher and is now back to human. Those mysterious footprints were made by either Joey Drew before the place was abandoned because in the tapes they mention ink floods and pipes that burst or either because of an employee that used to work there.

The thing is, Joey is old and has a wheelchair, suggesting that he may had trouble walking over minimal distances, and the footprints are in a rush, making it pretty far-fetched that Joey could run from the machine to the break room and down the trapdoor

Im not sure why some still think henry was the one who summoned ink bendy. there are 3 hints/lines by characters that show that ink bendy was summoned way before henry came back to the studio. 1: alice said "they say he hears everything" meaning that everyone at the studio knows a lot about ink bendy! 2:Sammy said "no my stay back" that means that sammy was trying to be set free by ink bendy way before and was not talking about henry. 3: a lost ones member said "He always finds me" that means he has seen ink bendy a lot of times AND was chased by him. now. THIS. can change everything. if what i think IS actually true. then what if henry comes back after a few more years?i would say 2 or 3 cuz alice does say that things broke fast at the studio. but the studio is FULL of ink AND looks really run down. anyway we dont know what really happened OR whats going on.

Wally turning into a lost one makes the most sense to me

3:13 you notice the boards are pinned from the outside, so the ink demon didn’t really block t, it either was a human being pinning the boards, ran with inky feet, to the break room, then probably died within it.

OMG Finally! Thank you for mentioning the footprints! I'm gonna say it's Wally. He not only makes the most sense. Isn't he also goofy and kinda clumsy as well? So with the Bendy cutouts popping up in a goofy way, maybe he was trying to scare Henry away and also what about when the projector turning on when you go to start the ink flow? You can hear the whistling. It's the same whistling that we heard at the exit door in Chapter 2 before everything got updated and we all believed it to belong to Wally Franks.

The Joey drew one makes sense but I thought he was In a wheelchair so there wouldn't be a trail of footprints

I think it’s sammy. My reasoning is that he let Henry turn on the ink machine so his savour, ink demon, kill Henry at the end of chapter 2 that failed obviously. And about his boots and the foot prints, we know there are lost ones that are part of his cult, so maybe the lost ones boarded up the ink machine to keep Henry alive to be part of the ritual at the end of chapter 1, then the lost ones went down to chapter 5 in from the trap door. Then I from evidence in chapter 3 and 4, sammy waited for Henry to get his visions so the ritual will work, but that did not work again In chapter 4 so in chapter 5 he lost his mind and tried killing henry

Idea: Sammy moved the cutout, then hid in the ink and when henry was gone, he quickly ran to the machine and boarded it up, but the ink got on his shoes and hid in the break room, locked it and then so on and so on.

Awesome work on this theory. Really good deduction. Out of the three for the footprints, I think Wally Franks makes perfect sense. If it was Joey Drew, then wouldn't he be in the wheelchair.

7:04Joey isn't Bendy, because at the end of chapter 5, it is revealed that Henry saw Joey immediately before chapter 1.

Maybe sammy found his shoes when he went into the brake room

I was thinking it could be the lost ones coming out of the ink machine, but then we would probably see a lot more footprints then just one pair... and the footprints would be a lot older sense we find the lost ones hidden away in chapter four... This is hurting my head.. But I'm going to go with Wally Franks...

I just want to mention, when you said for Wally Franks, "He might have become another Lost One", there are numerous of his recordings found around the studio, so this is possibly suggesting that he will take some place (either minor or major) in Chapter 5. But that's just my speculation

Wally Franks being Boris and being the one doing all of this makes sense but does any of it matter now that Henry killed him if he really was Our Friend Boris? Hopefully after Henry deals with "Bendy" he can somehow bring Our friend back using the ink machine before turning it off and reversing the ritual.

Wally is not dead at all, or even still in the studio lol. At the end of Chapter 5, there's a note to Joey from Wally about how he enjoys living in Florida with his wife and was going to the beach with his grandkids. Wally went on to live a happy life

And maybe it was the wrong way and Joey was moonwalking and tripped on the pipes and fell in the area of the machine hit a button and was being poured in ink and became bendy , boarded up the wall, and went to “kill” Henry

Hey superhorrorbro, i noticed something in chapter 2: in the very beginning of the chapter, when there is all the ink on the screen and stuff, there's something that looks like a ink-covered hand on the floor kinda hidden by the ink on the screen and disapears along with the ink. And since there's no one else in the room with henry, it has to mean that the ink-hand belongs to henry. And that kinda proves your theory that henry might be the good version of bendy. Just thought i'd tell you this because it just stood out to me and i thought you should know. Theory: What if it was Audrey from the dark revival

It’s interesting to consider whose footprints they are, the shape shows the person wasn’t wearing shoes - could be anyone who is reborn after being consumed right? The lost ones traipse about rather staggered since they are confused, perhaps if the footprints are irregular or show a limp they could be connected!

If you read the employee's handbook for this game, you can find a letter from wally franks to joey, much in the same way you can find one from Allison corner, who escaped the studio, so my first thought was that it couldn't have been wally franks. However, there does seem to be a version of Allison and tom in the game even though they managed to escape. so, there may be an ink version of wally.

Just want to see if you agree with me mixing two of your theories as one, you talk about when henry turns on the machine everybody turns to their inky forms, you also mention this in your norman polk explanation for the projectionist. We see that he is on his way to his "dark place" in chapter 2 after the machine starts to turn him to ink. So heres where it the gears fit, norman is the one who borders up the machine. While he is hammering the planks on he starts to turn, leaving and making his way to level 14 where we meet him as we got ahead of him from falling through multiple floors in chapter 1. Therefore it makes sense why norman would be travelling there from upper floors rather then already being there, what better reason to be on the upper floors then to try and stop the ink demon from escaping, obviously failing and getting him killed later.
