This is gorgeous. I was tearing up, sitting here at work. Beautiful, gorgeously edited, so touching. I now just want to go watch all the Doctor Who all over again.
you.... this.... I never even realized how much this song just FIT the Doctor and his story. This was masterly done and I think like the comment just before me, this is one of the only vids I've watched all the way through without browsing other stuff at the same time. The sequencing was so spot on and smooth and well fitted to the song and the lyrics of this song are just so TRUE when you think about everything that's happened to the Doctor... Really, beautiful. Thanks for this, for sharing.
That was absolutely gorgeous and so suited to the Doctor. Amazing vid that captured the Doctor's pain and loneliness and that song....beautiful. Brilliant. Loved it.
No, that's the perfect interpretation of The Doctor's character in NuWho. He was forced to "destroy" Gallifrey (well, wrap it in a time loop, I think) and while his companions help him keep perspective, most of them have suffered while travelling with him. He has a lot to blame himself for, and his friends have to remind him how to let go of all that pain.
You dear friend, are awesome. And so is this video. It's really easy to forget (especially with 11 now) just how many people the Doctor's left or who died. Doctor= the saddest, yet happiest person in the universe.
1. Johnny Cash was a brilliant musician and lyricist. 2. I was listening to this song recently, and all I could think of was "this works perfectly for the Doctor!", so of course, I had to look it up on RU-vid...3. This was perfectly edited. This is how the Doctor sees himself, especially after Gallifrey's fall (NuWho) 4. Great inclusion of 6 series! 5. Does the Master fit, too? As the friend he tried to save? 6. Love the video, & thanks for the Matt Smith quote. He gets it
It's really sad when the Doctor regenerates. In a sense, he loses everything. David Tenant's regeneration was to me the saddest Doctor Who regeneration of all.
Absolutely fantastic. "What have I become?" with Nine and Dalek was genius. The man who has saved the universe countless times, thrown into a blind rage, torturing a defenseless creature.
I don't comment on many fanvids but I did cry during this, when it had all the companions living their lives, because the timing was perfect. Of course, it's not the best Doctor Who vid out there but for a video with pretty basic editing it is amazing.
Best way the tell our and The Doctor's feelings. But after all i'm still thinking if i were him or any of his compenions, could i find a way to keep my self not to go mad start drinking
