@tubazimm first step: try to produce the best sound you can every note second: listen to other performers, also different instruments, to create your own musical ideas of this piece All the best
I fell in love with this piece! I just ordered the music right now! :D I don't want to sound like a douche or anything but I really feel that I could put a lot of my heart and soul into playing this piece! I'll be using this piece as my solo for my Marine Corps Band audition!
Well I played this solo for solo and ensemble to and got a 1 and I'm first chair of my section and I'm a Freshman, But we can be first chair together, Anyone else is welcome to join as WE ARE 1 SECTION! GO TUBAS'!
I have to play the trombone version on euphonium for my all state, all southern, and county audition later this year and im nervous cause there are so many great euphonium players auditioning
As a tuba player myself i think this is really good! I've only played 7.5y so im not that good but i've tryed this part and i can say that the part between 1.53 and 3.04 is a tricky one xP(also i think I got the wrong notes on that part xD) But anyhow i love this clip and all the other musicians playing this ( i don't have the nervs to do it and it wouldnt be as good as these guys xP) But i do really love this // skuml23 a swedish Tuba player
@TubaCarlos for a higher range you want make sure you have a good sound and when it stars getting rough work on making that note as strong as you can move to the next it realy works
Had the same problem, have you tried alternate fingerings for some of them? Also, I've heard some recordings where the trills were completely committed. Try and check some of those out.
Does anyone know what version he is playing? I like this version much better than the Nelson and Little arrangement and I reeeeeeally would like to play this one!
+Leah Anderson I would definitely recommend playing the original version for cello. I performed the original for one of my juries and it's so much fun!
Este chico suena muy bien pero le farta abrir mas darle profundidad a esas nota esa gordura que le aria k la gente se quitara el sombrero y mejorar un poco los graves ya que los agudos son envidiables
