the way he reads it though, he puts himself in their shoes and use actual emotions to read it. amazing, i was in the verge of tears by the end and can actually feel my heartbreak. he's definitely something else, isn't he? times like this reminds me why i love this actor. his talent is overflowing and well good looks are only a bonus. he is truly exceptional; benedict cumberbatch, i can only see good things come to you in the future ♥
This is incredible. You can actually see it, he brought himself back into character, like on the TIG set, his face looks different, it's really astounding.
That little catch in his voice at the end undid me. I know NO ONE Else who emotes and embodies his characters as deeply as Ben does. What a gift he is!
It seems to me he takes his roles to heart, and uses the characters he plays to understand more about being human, which he than, as best he can, passes along to us.
Remember he's the dragon in the hobbit, Sherlock, Khan. There's nothing he can't do. He's an amazing actor. I can't wait for the imitation game, Alan Turing is my hero. Cumberbatch is turning into another hero to me.
Not according to Sherlock: "Don't make people into heroes, Mrsbeatle1968. Heroes don't exist and if they did, I wouldn't be one of them." Pity, though, because I'm quite in agreement with you.
I've been reading about Turing this year; a true hero and a fallen one. If only he were here today to see his name exonerated. Bad things do truly happen to good people. I eagerly await The Imitation Game, with Benedict playing Alan. I fear that I'll weep through the whole film.
Turing's syllogism on paper is heartbreaking and unbearably poignant as it is. But Benedict's sympathetic (and immersive) reading renders it emotionally unpalatable; peeling back the layers to reveal just how profound this tragedy really is. wow.
Oh good Lord , He is using the voice of Alan Turing he did in the movie! I cried just listening to the pain in the words and voice . So incredibly sad this man did not find justice in his life. Perhaps Ben is helping him find justice that eluded Alan Turing during his life . I know he has changed his legacy .
