CIPC has been mandated in terms of the General Laws Amendment Act, the Companies Act (as amended) and its Regulations to establish a register of Beneficial Owners for all entity types registered in terms of the Companies Act and the Close Corporations Acts.

I know that the layout/format of the annual return submission is going to change to accommodate the POPI Act requirements, can we do a Mandate for the B/O and incorporate this also into the mandate??

what if the beneficial owner is another company? do you then select that its an affected company?

Only a natural person can be considered a beneficial owner.
