Today I only wore the primer, didn’t even put on foundation I had three different people come up to me today and ask why I look younger. This product is worth every penny!
I love this product. I think the difference is that you use a heavy foundation which covers everything quite solidly and I use a light Dewey foundation which keeps the skin looking fresh.
Nissa Chavez I love her voice as well. I normally never finish watching any make up tutorials or any make up look when the person is talking too much or annoying voice but for this video I did finished watching it though.
You were swiping when for pore filling primers you're supposed to press it in so that it actually fills the pores instead of just lying on top of the skin
Good video....I'm 67 and I love this product, it helps my pores look smaller, and it make the makeup go on better. Maybe it just depends on the persons skin. I do like your video, very professional and you don't go on and on like some. You are lovely.
I am 50 years old and have tried this product for the first time. What a difference. It smoothed out my skin texture and gave it a younger appearance. It didn't help fine lines, but It did give it a more porcelain look. Kudos.
I’m so glad to hear that you liked the primer! I will have to give this another try and see if it will do the same for me. I really want to like it. Thank you for sharing your experience! 💕
I bought this primer today, and I love it! I used a good foundation and can't believe the difference. I'll be 65 in September, and am thrilled with how well this primer worked.
@@yanairbe I really would give it a 2. try! Although you wearing a full coverage, really heavy foundation, I can see the mattified difference between the 2 sides, and at least that will minimise the pores... Maybe it works with a more lightweight foundation? I only wore this primer during the summer time, where I just use my it cosmetics CC+ cream in matte, but together with the matte CC Cream, the Mac Fix+ matte, or the porefessional super setter, the appearance of pores and texture is absolutely minimised, and the oils are controlled during the day, it just looks airbrushed and blurred to the fullest without looking heavy, just an amazing combo, for and oily t zone and textured skin!
When you put the primer on, the difference was clearly visible. After applying the foundation they looked the same because that foundation also has silicones in it that do the same effect as the primer! It’s just a fantastic foundation but I’m sure the primer is great with other foundations where the difference would be more noticeable
Just found your channel..And I must say..I'm in love!! Your videos are all so detailed and straightforward..Also you give off such calm and classy vibes..keep up the amazing work!
Apparently with the Estee Lauder double wear foundation you don't need to use a primer at all. Many people say you don't need too, I use Double wear but always use primer as I have large pores
Yes I have used DW for years I love it. Never had skin problems. Then... I used this primer once and bam, my perfect skin broke out like a nightmare. I could dig hard milia out of my face for days! And these things stretch the pores even more! Avoid Benefit! The primer is also almost 100% silicone...
Which primer do you use, if I can ask you that? I'm using the porefessional, the smashing blurring and regular one, and the Avant primer, but completely happy im with none of them... I have an oily t zone and textured skin/large pores, plus, I'm soon 39y;)
I believe that the primer works better for mature skin. You have young beautiful and flawless skin. Maybe if an older woman reviews the Porefessional Primer would get better results
I see shine on your unprimed side. I also see slight imperfections on your unprimed side as well. I don't don't know if you watched this closely on your camera or looked in a Mirror. Either way. I find you very pretty with or with out your imperfections. Don't try to hide it all Sweetie. Our imperfections make us who we are.😚
I LOVE your attitude! Thank you for reminding me of it. Absolutely love it: our imperfections make us who we are. I’ll have to try this out a few more times and see if I notice any difference. Thank you for your sweet comment! ❤️
You are very welcome. I am Irish and French. So I naturally have freckles and certain marks that that come with being Irish mostly. The women in my family never try to cover up the marks and freckles completely. That's why I think women like you that are so beautiful inside... Should never be afraid of who you are on the outside. Do you always. Not trying to stop you Sweetie. But love and remember where you got your Beautiful marks FROM and be proud. Your face and body always tell a story. Like for instance... I am 35 and I have had 54 surgeries because of my Spina-Bifida. I am using the primer actually to lighten up the scares around my collar bone and my neck from I.V.'s. I don't want them completely gone. Just a little lighter. Well thank you for liking my Comment. If you want to share my story you may. It actually says in the directions of the primer. TRICK Use the primer on thighs, tummy stretch marks or on scars. Scar are a huge reason. Well I better go. Love all your self. And again you are welcome for the compliment. ❤XO's Mimi
I agree with you, it did not do much for me under my Mac Studio fix. I bought all Benefits famous products Hoola Bronzer, 24 hour clear brow gel, bad gal mascara and this primer, I still don’t know what was the buzz 🤔 I guess I wanted to try them.
Yep I also fell for it twice. Two times 33 euros for the normal size. All to have my perfect skin breaking out like a motherfucker! I should sue them. Seriously, I want Benefit out of my country. I hate hate hate them. Them and their smelly hoole bronzer shit and dried out cream eyeshadow. Dumb fraud shit
I feel the same about this product! I love Benifit I live for their KaBrow! but this doesn't fill my pores or fine lines and it gets really chunky when I apply it.
Samantha Morris me too. The girl at Ulta told me it might be because it has silicone [sp?] in it and that can clump or roll up in foundation that doesn’t chemically bond well. Hope that helps
@@rebeccasmith7041 this chunky sensation I just get with this primer, cremes etc; when I don't shave my face, that's bcs of the fine hairs in your face! Try to shave your face, even dermatologists telling you doing that as a exfoliating technique, than your skin looks always as its best and your foundation to, it makes the biggest difference, plus, this chunky stuff never will annoying you again (omg, sorry for my english🤦♀️;)
How did she go from yellow, when she first put on that foundation, to such a nice neutral shade? I was like "woah"when she first put it on, way too yellow, but then it looked beautiful at the end. Magic? ;)
You are beautiful I mean it almost didn’t look like much difference maybe because your skin wasn’t bad. But the primer is a must for me it’s my go to my only. Yes it does make your face look lighter and smoother. But thanks for your video and I’m subscribing just found you tonight
Please come to Dhaka in Summer when the temperature is 31-38 degree celsius out there, and a simple 10-minutes walk on the road will make you sweat like hell! I swear its the best environment to test whether someone needs a primer or not(or, powder, foundation, setting spray- you name it!).
did they change their packaging to include a red circle with pore primer placed in the middle, because I want to verify if I purchased a legit product.
Yes I just started a couple months ago and it’s bomb this stuff really works I use the one with the red circle but I just got a couple of the original ones without the circle off Amazon today by a mistake imma see if it works the same
I love your videos! You answered all questions that popped up in my head and explained everything really well, you deserve more subscribers! I must ask, what is your favorite primer?
Aww, thank you! I am so happy to hear this! 😘 Ok this is hard because I have yet to find a primer that is amazing. The one that I like to wear on my bare skin is MILK Blur Stick. I am still trying to find the perfect one to use underneath the foundation to minimize pores.
@@yanairbe Yana: You did not apply the primer correctly which may be the reason you don't like ANY primers. You are supposed to DAB it on, NOT swipe it on. The company even has instructions on this. Also, you did not show a close up AFTER putting on your makeup.
Please try Primark's Perfect Finish Foundation - it is better than estee lauder's one in my opinion. (Cool sand would be your colour £2.5O ). I've tried so many but all streak/dry/pill - Primark's is brilliant - who knew!!
I bought this product with huge excitements but this was just a wastage of money. Even I don't have big porse still it didn't done anything on my face and made skin little bit dry.
Omg be careful! I have bought a fake RCMA powder from there before. 🙈 Idk how to help you decide. If it doesn’t stink or look weird and if it works ok for you, I’d think it’s real. 😬

You may be too young for this. Your pores may be small enough to be taken care of by your foundation. I think this product would be more beneficial for more mature skin or women with bigger pores or severe acne scarring.
You may be right! I always thought that if a primer can't make smaller pores disappear then surely it won't do much for larger pores but that may not be the case at all. 😘
I don't think those pores are serious enough to really have much of a difference in this case (at least not with that much foundation). If you pretty much just wore the primer for a natural look, it looks great from what we saw in the video at that stage of the process (though it doesn't seem like much pore-action for you to worry about either way). My pores are more serious than that, and I prefer no foundation so this review was handy to see that. I think you would look great with a no-foundation, primer look. Oh, also with not very large pores it might take some more effort to physically fill them in, not sure.
I am not trying to mean but you did not do it right at all and you are really good at makeup but not with that product because you are suppose to press it in with your blender
You're so pretty & sweet but respectfully I don't think you have an issue with large pores with or without primer. So, in my opinion, this is why the product didn't work best on you.
I don’t get it. You’re too young to have enlarged pores to see any actual difference. Lovely young lady with a very comforting voice and cool Eastern European accent.
Thank you for the sweet words! Not many people detect my accent and even fewer pin-point to where it's from (I was born in Russia.) You're good! I think my large pores are genetic since my grandma and my mom (and now myself) all have larger pores. 😕
Must be the filters in your camera that don’t show it. Even without any makeup, you are simply naturally beautiful. I found your video because I was interested in purchasing Benefit PoreFessional but after your review, I’ll stick to my Smashbox. Easy to detect the accent as I’m Russian as well.
No difference at all .. young ladies that are flawless like yourself makes me laugh that you all are trying to get a flawless look that you already have .. need to watch videos with a bit more mature ladies … sorry
