I also had too much flow, so I got a spraybar. Now my flow is more gentle and more evenly distributed. Finally, I no longer have a corner of my tank filled with poop that creates a dust storm when a fish swims by.

Thats definitely good to be rid of the poop storm 😆 spray bars are great, super nice form of even tank distributed flow!

There's power heads which you have and wave makers which reef keepers have, you can actually see the water surface form a wave with a wave maker

Goldfish tend to get bounced around by heavy flows, but if you find a really small one it will work fine at the surface!
