Great guy , but very delusional on how he thinks he should be fighting for title , 1 quality win and that was over a washed el cucuey, sure big win streak but over low tier fighters , let’s hope he actually puts on a show , not a stinker decision and then calls for title shot on another boring fight
Forget coaching Beneil, commenting is your thing. Good thoughtful informative answers to every question. Doesn't waste your time with cliches. Good man.
@@mikepeterson2544 I mean I think he will be more active at 155 if he does move up and wins the belt, cus who at 145 deserves a title shot? Maybe Arnold Allen or josh emmet or even yair? But that’s it other then that he cleared the top guys out
@@martyfakenewsman170 Yair, Josh, Calvin, Arnold, Giga, Bryce and Movsar all would beg to differ with regard to that "cleared the top guys out" comment, truly the most overused and laziest statement on Earth to make for UFC champions these days, really the only one you could MAYBE argue that for is Adesanya and even then it's a stretch
Dariush seems like a genuinely good guy; hopefully he does well. I met Schmo in Austin and he was down to earth and easygoing. Wish both these guys well.
We don't fuck with him, people in Iran are getting murdered everyday by the evil islamic government and he didn't even bother to post or say anything bringing awareness! During an interview his mother was asking us Iranians to support her son because we're the same bloodline and all these other bullshit....
Absolutely, Just a 100% real, down-to-earth, sharp, smart, ready -to-rumble fighter and all-around class act! (and the Schmo's interviews just keep getting BETTER all the time!)
Get Beneil on the telecast, he's got a great analytical mind, a student of the game and a likeable guy. ESPN et al would be crazy not to pursue him to get his insights on fighting.
Ehhh he still faked an injury recently to help manipulate islams position into a title fight and didn’t speak up for himself when he got leap frogged. I remember him having an “indefinite” recovery time so they couldn’t schedule Beniel vs Islam but the second Islam is confirmed for Charles, beniel can not only take a fight, but take a fight on the same card as Islam. Those two should be fighting each other but we live in a world we’re we let Ali and company run a muck with faking injuries
People need to calm down. If Bo fought khamzat now he would get DESTROYED. He has had 3 fights against low level fighters. He is fighting Jaime picket who is 13-8 next. They are building him up slowly to become a star. Dont rush it.
@El Hermano Mexicano Exactly people acting like they have never seen a ncaa world champ before or a olympic gold medallist or a greco roman champ they all have been in the ufc before but only very few come out on top khamzat proved since his debut hes legit bo is imo not that good.
Beneil Dariush has always been one of my favorite fighters. Not only is he a problem in the octagon, he's about the nicest guy you can find. A great representative of the sport. I hope he wins on the 22nd and gets a title shot, he deserves it.
Really, really looking forward to you fighting, Beneil, and really, really supporting you. Admire him so much as a fighter, a man, and a Christian man. Btw, can we please get someone to Schmo the Schmo, someday soon...curious to him out of character, haha. God Bless You All.
Not only is he a great fighter (I hope a future champ) but I also think he’d be great as a commentator / analyst going forward once he decides to retire… He's very literate & has a great voice, similar to Anik!!
I met Beneil at Kings MMA in Huntington Beach he’s super nice and humble. He didn’t have an ego and even took a pic with me and Marvin Vettori. I’m grateful and lucky.
Love this guy, and watch of his fights. It's too bad that some people don't learn that playing straight can sell the best. Though it helps that he is an exceptional guy.
Beneil is the most violent fighter in history. He's the most underrated fighter in the UFC. His nice demeanor is the exact opposite of his fighting mindset. I am sad that the UFC has not promoted him, because of the politics and the drama of the 155 pound division. I think he could have been one of the few to actually keep up with Khabib in a grappling match, a LOT better than Gaethje, and Poirier did.
5:33 So far Khamzat's attack plan has been: Grapple Strike Grapple Strike Grapple Colby is gonna have to watch out for that jab as soon as the fight starts.
If I didn't know that Beneil could choke the crap out of me, I would've assumed the dude painted houses for a living and that I could take him in a fight 😅
Schmo and Helen loves to interview someone who have nothing to do with Khamzat, but always ask the fighter about him so they can put him in the title. This is on rutin now haha.
Just a kind suggestion, I love all your content "Schmo." I'd like to see longer videos. You are an expert at MMA, and the short video clips are not a true use of your talent! Perhaps you could at least do 20 minute interviews? Short videos appeal to young kids. Not working adults who listen to podcasts while working. When I'm work, and I know most adult men probably listen to MMA interviews while they are working, it's not worth pulling up a 7 minute video. The longer the video the better, because you have a 10 hour work shift, and you need content to fill that time in the background.
@Individual Gamer I believe Bo's hype has more to do with how decorated his past is. The US is king in freestyle wrestling and he was the king of the US.
He does not, he's na great champion and medalist but not that kind of hype khamzat had. In some years maybe he'll be the champion or even bigger but not right now. He's not bigger or carry more hype than khamzat
