Thanks for the video. Was wondering about that hand guard and mounting options. This is the only video I’ve found to definitively explain. My 11733 is en route
I used an 18 inch mesa tactical forend after $180 spent I had to go back to the original plastic Foregrip. I have to agree with TFD TV that nothing will test your accessories like a Benelli M4. It’s great if it comes like that out of the factory and there’s no issues of things rattling loose. The original version has the test of time behind it. It looks great and I hope it works. I went through freedom, fighter, tactical for all of my modifications, and a few GG&G parts My mesa tactical 18 inch Ford grip rattled loose after only a couple hundred rounds. Best of luck to you, my friend. God forbid you have to use The customer service from Beretta because it’s the worse than abysmal. With that all said I love my M4. ✌🏼
I just called them about getting the qd points for the stock that didn’t come with mine. They’re sending them for free. Seems mighty white of them imo.
Yeh , I’m getting this now . This is the model I’ve been waiting on , I hated the old forend and collapsible stock ( the way you had to twist it ) this one is perfect stock
Fairly sure those models are modified post import. The pesky 922r law keeps Benelli from shipping M4s with collapsible stocks and 7 round tubes. That’s why you see the bulge in the tube, it’s from the addition of a tube extension. The forend is not a stock Benelli part from Italy, it’s going to be made in the US. More than likely the trigger, hammer, and disconnector is US made as well.
Negative. These are the LEO/MIL variants. Once they’re imported the dealer can sell to who they want. 922r only pertains to neutered versions being imported as such.
thx, cool video man, the hand guard is a huge win imo; items to wrap my thumb over when gripping and often get a toasty thumb after 15+ rounds. Gen2 is a littler heavier in the front but that is OK for me. Mag upgrade from factory is much nicer; and it’s VERY tough to find a Gen1 5-slot adjustment now days. larger buttons - sooo awesome! that Benelli “m-link” system i think they call it is quirky, but works
@@SHUB281 No, you're gonna have to assemble it. 😅The shop on gunbroker I was going to buy from happened to be in the next town over. So I just hopped over there and bought in person. They were nice enough to assemble it while the background check was running.
Got this exact model a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Only slight disappointment was I thought the handguard was MLOK as well. So easy to disassemble and clean this bad boy and an absolute joy to shoot. I like the oversized controls but prefer Freedom Fighters Tactical charging handle so ended up switching that out. At least I have a spare now lol. I think I also prefer the square bolt release from TT so I ordered that. Good to hear about Mesa Tactical working on a model to fit the LE.
M-Loc attachments will work on this hand guard. You just have to take off the little locating nubs on the back of the attachment and use countersunk screws with loctite so the counter sunk head centers the attachment up on the rail and loctite keeps it secured In place after torquing down.
I got this one too. I too do wish there were videos out on it. I'm glad i ran across this video i got the 8 round mesa tactical side saddle and i guess I'll be selling it off since it won't fit. Haven't put it on but no need to try if you already discovered it won't fit.
Glad the video helped out! Yeah, I was watching tv while trying to screw the side saddle in. I realized what the problem was after 10 mins of mindlessly screwing unsuccessfully. 😂
Gotta say, I agree that I don’t like the look of the stock as much, however that simple push button to slide it out and in instead of the twist deal sells me on it.
Thanks for the vid...just got my 11733...nowhere in the manual, or on you tube is there any info on how to disassemble the charging handle on initial assembly. They are so dry and tight from the factory. Took it to local gun shop and it took them 20 mins to get it off. For anyone else having that problem, use a punch on the opposite side of the charging handle and punch the pin in. It's crazy tight. I'm a big guy and couldn't get it to budge. Happy blasting!
Local shop had M4 gen 1 and M4 gen 2 with and without night sights Both models with adjustable stocks and full length mag tubes All brand new in box from the factory in that configuration
Hey I’m considering this or a 11715, is the handgaurd slippery at all, or do you think this model is a good upgrade and worth it? The 1175 comes threaded with the C stock and smaller controls.
I wonder if that bulge is to help indicate its U.S. made, 922r compliant? I'd be interested in swapping some gen 2 parts into a gen 1. Also, does that new 7 round tube hold 7 2 3/4 shells? The old one hold almost 7, NATO 2 3/4.
Thanks for sharing this video. I wanted to upgrade my stock hand guard to the LE hand guard with the bottom grip like yours. Any websites you would recommend to purchase theses mods? I appreciate your help!
I dislike the mag extension. Should be a one piece tube. I'd have to change it out if it were mine. Or just get the SBS entry model with the 14 inch barrel.
my wife just surprised me an M4 for my birthday and I fuckin love it! Im not a huge fan of the rail (prefer m Lok) so I ordered the Midwest industries. That's the only thing I'm changing. Everything else is perfect. But I agree, it took me a minute to assemble it with that rail. The manual didn't help much.
Lol lucky guy right here! Yeah, I was interested in the Midwest Industries handguard because it pretty gives you the original M4 profile, but it's M-Lok. And I know Midwest Industries makes good shit. But like I said to another commentator, I think I'm just going to stick to this handguard unless the mounting system fails. I'm focusing on getting some dual tubes so I can't be dishing out money here and there right now.
@@buttermilkswagreal you're telling me man. 2 birthdays ago I got a Scar 17 😅 I'm grafeful for her. And yeah I don't have an issue with the stock handguard, it's solid but I like that the Midwest pushes out further so you can mount a light further out. and yeah I've yet to dabble in the NV game but it's expensive for sure. Thanks again for the video. There aren't too many out there for this model.
I just got a 11796 from Illinois. Tiny charger and bolt carrier reset button is teeny. All going to cost me $$ to enlarge. The stock is three position. What is going on here?
The button needs to be pushed way in and the turn the stock. You might use a pen to push on it or I seen one old timer put a nut down on the button and push.
anyone know if the h20 version is painted or plated? If painted in cerakote, does it hold up well enough to justify the extra expense or is it purely cosmetic and no real added protection? Thanks
I had no idea this model even existed, walked into my LGS and they had 4. Ended up making a deal for a 11732 at 2K total out the door with tax, after looking online seems I didn't do too bad. I dont see anything to change really, also running a 510C sure like this optic.
@@buttermilkswagreal Correction - The M4 11732 has a fixed modified choke. I received incorrect info from the dealer. In layman's terms a fixed choke is a slight modification at the end of the barrel that is fixed in place by the manufacturer - can't be removed. A shotgun with a manual choke has a threaded barrel and which allows you to interchange multiple "chokes" which are slight variations at the end of the barrel that change the shot spread.
I strongly suggest keeping that shotgun stock that is to say, factory, no upgrades. My own experience is the Going to operate the best and its natural state from the factory. Nice gun bro.
Thanks man. Yeah, I'm not going to change anything out. The only thing that interested me was that Midwest Industries handguard. But this Benelli handguard is pretty cool. The only thing that would make me switch would be if the mounting system was suspect after a lot of rounds. I'll see if that happens.
Question's ? Can the Older Plastic Hand Guards (Left & right) still be put on in place onto this T Pro Version if you choose not to use this T-Pro New Hand Guard system ?? TY
I haven't messaged them since then. The 6-shot carrier should be ready based on their timeline, but I wouldn't buy one until it's confirmed directly. If you decide to message them, remember to mention you have the new style handguard.
@@buttermilkswagreal Mesa Tactical told me all of there shell holders on their website will fit this handgaurd now. I am in contact with benelli for the handgaurd picatinny rails. They were not in the box with my m4. I can't find the picatinny mounts anywhere. I want to mount my light but can not until I get this resolved.
@@user-jn8sg5ds1h Oh, that's very unfortunate with the rails. They come in a little baggy and can be easily misplaced by the store/seller. If you haven't already, I'd try contacting the place you bought from. But that sucks. I wish you the best of luck with that.
Buttermilkswag- Can you tell us the website or company for the Handguard? You mentioned it was a Benelli handguard but I can't find it on any site? If you have a name, model number, phone etc that would be great. Thx
The magazine tube is actually modified from a 5 shot to a 7 shot. The bulge part is where the threads are. Also your charging handle and bolt release are not factory, but after market.
@@cops312this is how the new variants are coming for military and law enforcement. They’ve been on the open market for almost 5 years everywhere but here in the states.
I'm not too sure. The position groves on the recoil spring tube for this stock are bound to be different than the ones for the original stock. Might be too different to be able use the original type stock.
Benelli M4 11732, Holosun 510C (Green Reticle), Streamlight Protac HL-X Laser ( I think. Forgot the exact name lol), BCM KAG grip. You asked about the sling in your other comment. It's from Wellsmade Co. They're kind of meme/joke slings, but they're actually pretty good slings. They're thin though. So if you have a heavier gun you might one to buy a sling pad for it. Theirs or someone else's.
I think Benelli is modifying the tubes post import or having someone do it for them. All of these newer models have modified tubes which is kind of weird.
@@buttermilkswagreal I've got the same model, bought it brand new last year, and mine had the +2 extension right out of the box. Mine's got around 500 rds of mixed stuff, from 7.5 low base bird shot, 00 buck and slugs, with zero malfunctions. I love mine.
@@buttermilkswagreal I just got an 11732 as well. I am assuming Benelli is assembling the new M4 in USA. thats how Beretta got around the 5 shot to 7 shot tube as well as other import laws. but I cant seem to find anything out about the 11732 , or 11733 not even on the Benelli USA website.
Where I say "rail" in this video, I probably meant handguard. Sorry about that! 😅 1:57 might be a tube extension. Which is weird because this would mean it would be modified from Benelli. But it might be a way to get around the import restriction. Import the tube as a 5 rounder and modify it later. I'm not sure though. I'm just conjecturing.
8:12 Even though I put so much pressure on the fore-end, it just won't align. Since I live in Turkey, there is a 2+1 wedge in the pipe magazine due to hunting rules. I had to disassemble it when I was going to use it for shooting, but I could never put it back on again. It doesn't fit perfectly. Do you have a tactic?
It was about $2,550 after tax and everything. It was $2,400.00 list which was the cheapest I could find at the time. I saw one recently on gunbroker for $2,200.00 list. But after 3% cc fee, tax, and gunbroker in between, it'll probably be close to what I paid. Then if you want a silver one, you'll have to typically add $100.
You can expect to spend around $2,300-$2,400 (tax included) brand new. But I'm basing that off of gunbroker prices and how much I bought it for. You might be able to get it cheaper.
It's a semi auto 12ga, with a 7rnd mag tube, but it has all kinds of doo dad's bolted on, you could put all that crap on a b b gun too, when you run out of the 7, you got a single shot that's slower than a break action single
Yeah, man. Benelli does what Benelli does. : / These models have actually been around for a minute, but they're just starting to come into the US market. Maybe in a couple months they'll update the US website.
@@chrisharris9710no they are not. Everyone keeps saying that and it’s simply not true. These variants are imported under MIL/LEO use to the dealer then sold on the open market to civilians. Perfectly legal to do so.
I've been thinking about how I can get the side saddle of this Mesa Tactical for a year. I guess it wasn't suitable. A very informative video. If there is a suitable side saddle, can you share the link of the product with me? There are two reasons why I bought Benelli m4. Firstly, even armies use this weapon. The second one is because it looks very noble when you attach the aluminum side saddle.
