Thanks for checking out the review. I also have a road test of the bike on the channel along with an accessories and a long term ownership review. Ride safe 👍 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dgI8lHYry3E.html
Thanks for checking out the review. I was in the same mind as you. Originally I was looking at buying an Africa Twin Adventure Sport but when I test rode the Benelli I was amazed how good it was for the price. At the end of the day they are so cheap to buy its worth giving them a go as you're not going to loose a lot of money if you decide to sell onwards. I garuntee you will be happy with the bike. Stay safe.
Hi thanks for checking out the review. I have an in depth walk around review of the bike and a review of accessories for the TRK, both are on my channel now. Ride safe.
Thanks mate for the review ppl i guess have issues with Benelli as it is not well known like others i am thinking of buying one myself here in Australia its really cheap for what you get and every review is positive in general well done mate
Really important points are that the brakes are Brembo, and the suspension at the front at least is Marzocchi. Two well respected names in the industry. To get those, fully adjustable rear suspension, decent handguards, Metzeler Tourance tyres as standard for the money is amazing.
Thanks for your informative review. As you rightly say, this bike should not be dismissed because of magazine reviews because they tend to only have the bikes for a short while and they only have a few workshop PDI miles on them. I always check out owner reviews for a more realistic opinion.
About 12 months ago I went to a well known bike dealer in north Dorset who sells top of the range Italian bikes and Brough, they also happen to sell Royal Enfield, as I was going to be a new but old rider I went to look at the RE Himalayan, which I did and I liked it although being 6'3" it felt a bit low on the seat, luckily the same dealer had just become a Benelli dealer and before I left I sat on a red TRK502X and WOW what a super bike, I am an engineer I it was easy to see the build quality was very good, but the seat and height were spot on, it did feel a bit heavy to move around but I'm a big ex 2nd row rugby player so once I had the balance points it was OK, unfortunately I had a bit of a health issue to sort our so I still haven't bought my Benelli yet.
Hi thanks for checking out the review. You are spot on about the bike and it's quality. I have just returned from a two day trip around the Mull of Kintyre trail and the bike easily did in excess of 400 miles in atrocious weather. (video soon to be uploaded to the channel.) I hope you get your health issue sorted soon so you can get back on the road. Ride safe 👍
Thanks for a geat review. I,m looking to get the new version as my first bike so this information has been very helpful. BTW what make of shoes are you wearing?
Hi thanks for checking out the review. There is a road test review and accessories review also on the channel. I will have a long term ownership review coming on the channel soon. The boots I am wearing are AKU spider boots. Ride safe 👍
Hi tanks for checking out the video. The lights are made by givi. If you look on my channel i have a TRK 502 accessories review of all the accessories on my bike with all the links where to purchase and prices. Ride safe.
Thank you abuot this explaining . I bought the motorcycle two weeks ago and will receive it in the first year and chose the same color (white). Can you tell me what the width of the rear bike is. From the left bag to the right bag?
Hi thanks for checking out the review. Unfortunatley I'm at work at the moment and my work is located outside of the UK. I will not be returning to the UK until mid January so I cannot answer your question. If you cannot find out the information before then please ask me again in January and ill be glad to answer your question then. Ride safe.
I rode one of these earlier this year in the spring…I’m in the US and the dealer here had it priced a little higher than I wanted to pay for it so I moved on. I found a preowned one today with 600 miles on it for a much more reasonable price so I’m going to test ride it Friday…as I can’t recall much about the bike I previously rode earlier this year. Not to get too personal but what do you weigh? I’m 32” inseam and remember the bike being tall but don’t remember having any issues moving it around or it feeling way too tall…I’m about 200lbs so maybe that’s why…I weighed it down more?
Hi I am around 88kg with an inseam of 33. As with all bikes moving them around on a flat surface is all about technique. If you keep the bike in a neutral balance and use the correct grip and stance then even the most heavy bikes are easy to move. The problems come when you are on uneven or sloped ground or rough ground. I do find the bike heavy to move then. I also find it heavy to move when sitting on the bike with the engine off as I cannot quite flat foot it. I have ridden both the 502 and the 502x and with the 502 being slightly lower I did find that easier to move around. Ride safe 👍 🙏
Hi thanks for checking out the review. If you take a look at my channel there is a short video listing where I got all of the accessories for the bike and the cost of each item. Ride safe.
@@BikeRiderReviews Thanks for the info i already own this bike and i love it and i also have the same white colour like u i just subscribed your channel do share some love towards my channel too
Hi thanks for checking out the review. This was the first review I ever attempted so I was learning as I went along. I still am learning with every review. There are a few other videos to check out on the channel and hopefully they are a little better. I'm glad you enjoyed the review overall. Ride safe. 👍
Hi, I think they are Kappa side boxes and a Givi top box. If you take a look at TRK accessories review on my channel all the details are in that video, including part numbers and price. Ride Safe
Hi thanks for checking the review. This would make a great first big bike but there is one consideration to take. The bike is very heavy and also the seat height is quite high. As long as you have the physical strength to move the bike about and you are tall enough to get your feet on the ground when sitting on the bike I think it would be great for a beginner rider. As soon as the lock down rules end I will be putting a full, on the road ride review on the channel. Ride safe.
Hi thank you for checking out my review. The oil schedule is as follows, 1000km (621 miles), 7000km (4350 miles), 13000km (8077 miles), 19000km (11806 miles), 25000km (15534 miles)
whaooo thank you for your quick answer. Well every 6000 KM it's all right not amazing but ok. Did you have any ecu electrical or engine problems ? To be honest I use to have some italian bikes and i always have to sell it after a short time due to electricals disfunctions. My last one was a Tiger 955i 47000 km and in spite off an accelerator cable absolutelly no problems in 4 years.
@@midhryn Hi, no problems so far. I think that in past few years Benelli has upped its game and although many frown on bike components being made and assembled in China, in todays market this is not such a bad thing. Many top manufactures such as Suzuki and BMW all use China based companies to build their bikes. The Chinese have really improved to the point that their products can compete and compare favourably with most mid range Japanese bikes for quality, build and reliability. I have a review of a Sinnis Terrain which is a Chinese built bike coming on the channel soon. It is only a small 125cc bike but it does highlight the standard which the Chinese bike manufactures are achieving today. Please give my review a thumbs up and subscribe as I have loads more stuff to be added in the future. Ride Safe.
Thumbs up already done suscribe too. I'm less "scared" about Chinese product than italien electricity LOL I know many great brands are built in China or in India no problem for me. . I know that even a new bike could have some little issues, if the VAS is ok doesn't really matter .In France Benelli VAS seems to be quite slow among all articles I've read on the net. Anyway thank you i'm waiting for your future experience return.
Everytime I keep thinking of buying one of these I can't help but think that if they had a 700 or 800cc it would be ideal. 1200gs is too big but 500cc a bit too low powered as I normally ride with a pillion. Shame as I really like the looks.
Hi the bike is coming up to 9000 miles no with no issues other than a leaking fork seal which is being replaced as I write this. I have absolutely zero corrosion anywhere on the bike and absolutely no other problems. Up to yet it has been an amazing bike. Ride safe 👍
@@BikeRiderReviews thanks for reply mate. Am looking to chip my MT-09 in for one. Sat on one today and just felt the presence without even leaving the shop. Totally different bikes but I don’t ride fast and I will be mainly using it for commuting. Seems ideal!
Hi thanks for checking out the review. I'm 5 09 and I don't have too much problem unless i'm on uneven ground, but I am used to having big heavy bikes. My inside leg is 34 inch and i think anything less than that then it would be a struggle due to the high seat height of the bike. Ride Safe friend.
Hi again, no they are not Benelli. The top box is a GIVI Trekker Otback 58 ltr OBKN58A and the side cases are KAPPA K Venture 37 ltr KVE37A. The Bennelli cases are a bit too small for my needs and also if I sell tghe bike I can keep the boxes and put them on my next bike.
What is your inside leg measurement. The TRK 502x has a tall seat height. You need to compare the seat height to the length of your inside leg which will indicate whether you will be able to reach the floor when seated on the bike. Ride safe. 👍
I think one of the major issues using this bike for world travel would be availability of parts. The dealer network is not great. If the bike became damaged then you could end up being stuck for a very long time waiting for new parts. For travel around European countries I think it would not be too bad. I havent seen a trend in any major faults on the bikes up to yet. I have seen a few reports of rear shock absorbers failing but it is not what you would consider a common fault. Ride safe.
Here's a review featuring a guy who rode from Macau to Portugal without any problems. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-miTzS3vBJoY.html&ab_channel=MotorcycleAdventures
Thanks for checking out the review. I have considered removing the pegs but I know the minute I do I will need to carry a pillion lol and i don't think the amount of weight of the rear sets would be noticeable when riding the bike anyway. Ride safe.
