LOVE when he was talking away while drinking!!! my Bengal that I had, unfortunately had to put him to sleep at only 14 months old due to an infection that went to his brain, loved water. he would pull the drain plugs out, drink from sinks with running water. I miss him every day, since it has only been 2 months since he's been gone 😢 I am first in line to pick a new Bengal kitty from my breeder. I'm waiting for a brown boy to be born n know he's the one. I could've chosen a silver boy, but I just loved my brown boy I had. and my breeder is so good, he is giving me the kitten for free, not only since it fell under the health guarantee, but he's just an overall good person. I love watching ur videos. u should make new ones 😉

Cats LOVE FRESH water. Standing water is not as yummy--it's gotten stale with dust, lint and whatever else. Even in the cleanest of homes, dust and tiny particles of textiles, e.g., will get into bowls of open water. Nothing like fresh, RUNNING water...

The reply from Sootikins is the best advice ever! The guys at your local cat rescue are dealing with different cats all day, every day - what they don't know, isn't worth knowing. There are genuine positions for cat fussers too! :-) If all you want to do is cuddle and stroke cats, so just volunteer and hang out with them, and ask lots of questions!

Lol, this reminds me of my Raven. She's a black domestic short hair that loves to jump into the bath! She also jumps in the kitchen sink and meows until I turn the tap on!

I think my cat is a Bengal or Egyptian Mau mix because he loves water. We bought him a drinking fountain and he loves putting his paws in the water and taking a drink right from the fountain. Also given the chance he will jump in the tub during a shower and sit on the edge or jump in the water.

My sister cat does this all the time... Hes a 2 year old Bengal... Hes huge... when he eats or drink water, he sounds exactly like that. x3 Also he allways in the tub. LOl

I eventually invested in a "waterfall" cat drinking bowl for our Bengal "Bella" who is a White Snow Leopard variety. We also have her son Woody who is a Ginger Bengal/British Short Hair (BSH) cross from our sadly now gone Tom Cat as well a Ginger copy of your Teego named Teddy (Bear) all 3 are indoor cats and we also have a petite BSH female who is an indoor/outdoor cat but despite being 1/2-1/3 the size of the others is most definately the Alpha of the group. I had a couple cat's that demonstrated an intense obsession with water as well. I realize now that it was their eating habits. At the time I was feeding commercial cat food...once I converted them both to raw it stopped. dry cat food especially causes the cat to be severely dehydrated. Another behavior with water is cats have sense glands in their mouth..one of my cats used to sit at water bowl and "taste" air with the water in his mouth. He would drink a gulp, then hold his head up as to breathe in the air..sipping the air...this causes some kind of eurphoric sensation or something as he would do this for several minutes. Then my other cat..later also became obsessed when I started feeding more dry. He was so obsessed in my 3 story home..if I turned on my upstairs sink he would come running and dive into the sink to drink from the spout. Again..sipping but also somewhat tasting the air with it. I have since converted him to raw and canned and he no longer does this. I can turn the water on with him right there and he is about as interested in it as he would be to a piece of bark. One of my vets tried to convince me it was diabetes..but thankfully I didnt listen. I will say it certainly mocks diabetes and perhaps can contribute with excessive water drinking however all I can say is now both cats dont have the fetish anymore..they barely drink out of their water bowls as they get their moisture from the raw.

My cats I a Short Haired Tabby and when he first came home he LOVED water a bunch of water a day and he still does but, he hates being by the tub and love drinking water from the sink(He is 8 months)

I have a bengal tortie mix and it's so funny how much of the bengal side comes through. she's super interested in water, doesn't mind baths, meows loudly, and much more. watching your bengals makes it that much more apparent of which side is more dominant in her. Thank you for the videos! :3

I think it's just a different strain. Freya has ticked fur with spots, and Chatzi has rosettes and glitter. Your Rowley is gorgeous, and looks like he also has ticked fur and maybe a little longer than Freya's fur too. Chatzi isn#t particularly low F-stage, but originally cost £1000, and was given to a rescue centre by the owner who "couldn't cope with him!"!!!

Its probably because he likes to drink cool fresh water rather than luke-warm stagnant water that's been sitting in bowls all day collecting dust. I don't blame him, I'd be the same.

I am owned by 2 bengal cross brothers, one of them loves dripping water to drink. My 3rd cat is a very large ginger tabby, they get along wonderfully. I love your videos!

Oh od, now I know why my Coonie kitten digs in to every water bowl around the house before he drinks! That riddle is solved now, thank you very much. He loves water and has to have tub time (drinking from the faucet and playing) at least twice a day. He jumps into the empty tub and won't stop meowing util I turn the water on.

My cat Winston is also fascinated by water! He will literally play with water in the sink. However, he HATES flea baths! Haha man would I be lucky if he was as brave like Chatsey! I always thought Winston maybe had a little Bengal in him. Maybe he does ❤😼❤

My Maincoon Bengal mix cat would always go in and roll around in the water left on the floor after we showered. Getting all kinds of things wet afterwards.

I love cats, and Bengals especially, but I know I'm just not a kitty owner. Between asthma, allergies, and other issues, I do better getting my kitty fix from the internet. Thanks for sharing your kitties, they're wonderful and weird! :D

Our beautiful calico tortie, Keila, loves to drink running water. It started with her begging at our sinks and we eventually got her a little drinking fountain and she lost interest in sinks. When it is disassembled for cleaning, however, the previous behavior resumes and not only that, she would push around a stagnant temporary water bowl just to get the water moving. That caused quite the mess!. She certainly is a character.
