Bengali Suji Halwa Recipe || ঝুরঝুরে সুজির হালুয়া || Sujir Halwa Recipe
Ingredients:
1. Suji: 1 cup
2. Saffron: 10-12 strands
3. Milk: 1½ cup
4. Sugar: 2/3rd up
5. Ghee: 4-5 tspn
6. Salt: very little
7. Water: 3-4 tspn
8. Chopped dry fruits: as you wish
Procedure:
1. Soak 10-12 strands saffron in lukewarm milk.
2. Put 2 tspn ghee in a kadai and add 1 cup of suji in it.
3. Fry the suji until golden in colour and add sugar gradually.
4. After 4-5 minutes, add milk gradually and stir continuously.
5. When halwa become crumble, add kesar milk, dry fruits and ghee in it.
6. After completion of the procedure, cover the kadai with lid and keep in standing time for 15 minutes.
7. Finally serve delicious crumbly suji halwa and enjoy.
