I have also visited homelane but need to go to other designers as well to for comparison sake for example livspace. My first impression was good mainly due to the sales guy but the designer was shit.They told me later that she was just a trainee. Anyways i can understand that the cost is a bit high mainly due to its brand value. So i need to investigate more before I pick homelane.

Most 3rd class company that I have ever seen in my life. I have given a contract to them in Kolkata for interior decoration of my new 3 bhk flat at Newtown. They have taken more than 13 months to finish the jobs partially. They had engaged road side sub-contractor for the work. most of their executives are expert to cheat the client. All the viewers are requested to think twice before give them a contract for interior decoration.

Any next door interior designer would provide much better designs at low cost because they would have a very high margin as there are not many middle men. Your entire business is based on multiple layers of middle men due to which there is a very less room for negotiation, hence there would be very less room for innovation.
