Indian upper middle class and rich have most ego and status issue... On the other hand public transport not yet so convenient and comfortable that such people could easily give away the luxury of cars
Bengaluru was once a paradise ....... Today 1. High traffic 2. Garbage City 3. Traffic violation 4. Uneven planning 5. High rise buildings but no roads 6. No infra development for the City No hopes.
Creating job opportunities across your states and cities will reduce the need for people to move to Karnataka, easing traffic and population congestion. This allows everyone to find quality work closer to home
It’s stupid micro managers of these service companies wants employees come office every day … as these crappy managers food n butter is micro management lol…. Smart managers work in smart companies unlike these services companies
Infy, TakeM, HCL, Cognizant, etc.... they all want to punish employees by calling them to office, this happens due to Aged Useless Managers & Directors, who come office to save themselves from family and issues, but wait, what I'm senior person coming to office and my juniors not, Do 5 days working from office.

No swiggy - no zomato , only you get tamatos and raw tamrind - tamrind leaves , gaua fruits . Even monkeys here , try to drink coconut water 😅 . No air pollution - free sweet ground water . My salary is 20k but every month , i save 15k rupees .
I was living in Bangalore, and my family was suffering from Allergies and other health issues due to extreme pollution, and no free time due to long traffic blocks. I used to complain and write a lot on social media, thinking the situation in Bangalore would improve. I did the same for a decade, but nothing changed. It took a decade for me to realize that improving the quality of life in Bangalore is way beyond my circle of influence, hence, the only option remaining for me to live a healthy life is leaving Bangalore. I left Bangalore, living in a heavenly village surrounded by trees and lush green, and opted to work from home for lower pay. But my family is happier and healthier, and our cost of living is 70% lower than in Bangalore. It was the best decision in my life to leave Bangalore and move to the village life.
Same. Even after getting upto 24 Lpa offers in Bangalore, I decided to stay in kerala itself. Hybrid work, only need to go to office 2 days a week and can return home. Enjoying life
Same here, I moved out of Bangalore several years back. Even then, the traffic was really bad, its become worse now. I now work from home and have so much peace even though my pay is less than in Bangalore. Peace and health are more important. I have not had an asthma attack after leaving B'lore.
I've been stuck for 4 hours (several years ago) in a similar jam in Bengaluru .... a city that can't handle 1 or 2 extra inches of rainfall than the usual rain. Yeah ... had to pee on the road side trying to hide my dignity from being exposed to traffic on the opposite side.
Yes, population is our strength. We must increase population and pollution sir, more population means more working hands and bigger economy and better crowds for our vibrant colourful religious festivals sir🙏
I myself am a techie working for an MNC, and one problem I often notice is that most people commute alone in their cars instead of carpooling. When one car could accommodate five people, they still choose to drive alone, causing traffic jams and wasting fuel. Then, they blame traffic congestion on the government. How can anything improve when people are so inconsiderate?
@@Truthisbitter1it's not giving shit, they are buying it. I am a local btw. Roads in my area flood every year started from 2021 and i have lived there for more than 2 decades. I completely support anyone who criticize infrastructures in this city. On same thought, if someone makes baseless remarks just for the sake of it, I don't give any attention nor do i support it.
Carpooling was banned by the karnataka govt. There were few initiatives in 2013-14 but due to safety concerns(sexual harassment, etc) and a few kidnapping cases; the govt. permanently banned carpooling. It is illegal and your vehicle can be seized by the police.
The biggest problem with Bangalore is that big IT companies do not have any influence whatsoever. They invest heavily in skill development and build products and services worth billions of dollars, but they can’t put even slightest pressure on the local government to fix things, which is a sad reality. E.g if there was a big Reliance corporate office in Electronic City, all this nonsense would never happen.

This is bound to happen. Development is happening in limited states and cities. Politicians who don't develop their respective states should be jailed. Their parties banned from contesting elections.
A Political party forms Govt for 5 yrs . That's too short a time to complete changes initiated & to complete infra projects in entirety . Political party in Govt changes then the new Govt invariably stalls / delays or stops ongoing projects. Happened with Amravati city project in which Singapore was involved, 1995 NICE Road to connect Bangalore - Mysuru to extend Bangalore outwards , 2020 Thackeray Govt changing plans of Mumbai Metro & literally stalling the project, UPA Govt stalling Vajpayee Govt's projects .... Plenty such cases in India where new Govt's action have resulted in loss of multiple millions to the State / India

Sir, population is not to blame always I think, because our neighbour country ( 2nd most populous country ) have similar population but they have good planned infrastructure and management ( still traffic Jams happen but not every day) . I agree with your poor urban planning & infra. If proper planning, execution of infra projects and management of these happens then this can be avoided. Just saying.
The traffic jam is good for economy, more polution and health problems, more profit for hospitals, more bills for logistic companies,,, more fuel burnt,,, more petrol consumption.... So this is goverment plan to increase economy
@adarshuuu There are other means as well to increase economy like private vehicle manufacturing companies & showroom investments & their taxes , private vehicle buyer taxes, diesel taxes , bribe money for granting private hospital licence & its equipment taxes , medicine taxes, medical insurance GST etc 😂😂 . We are screwed in every way. That's why I love Anti-Natalism (no babies in cruel world) concept
Complete the cycle. More petrol, more fiscal deficit, more health issues less working population, less working population less tax, less tax more borrowing, more borrowing more inflation. More inflation less competitive business, less business less employment, less employment less GDP. So you think any government will like this situation?
Companies have the ability to offer their employees the option to work from home. By doing so, we can significantly reduce the amount of traffic congestion that we currently experience on a daily basis. This means that the usual traffic jams and delays that many people face during their commutes could become a thing of the past. With fewer cars on the road, not only would travel times improve, but the overall stress and frustration associated with commuting would also decrease. This shift could lead to a more efficient and pleasant work-life balance for everyone involved.
If Public Transports are very good and standard then this wouldn't have happened. People who use private transportation daily are using it because Public Transport is not good. Every City Corporation in India needs to start City Planning soon or else this would be dangerous in the future
Those suggesting public transport - it’s equally congested this traffic is the symptom of over population Bangalore’s population capacity is breached that’s the thing plus for a traffic to flow there should be no water logging or mis hap in drainage system yet that’s exactly what is happening the spread of dengue is surely from inefficient drainage system I even see rats lying dead on footpaths 😢
What else do you expect when homes that were 2 stories at best gave way to 5 floor apartments. Once quiet and peaceful neighborhoods have been transformed into congested concrete slums with each family seemingly having an SUV for travel around the city!
This happens when DCM says he want Brand Bangalore instead of focusing on brand Karnataka. Developing and investing only in one city brought Bangalore to exhausted stage. It was a much richer and beautiful city without IT ,BT companies in 1970s ,1980s.
@@ssryr6427 bangalore city is owned by theRothschildgroup. Can't touch a stone without there consent. Example is stone hill project near airforce (on way to airport)
This coupled with the water issue means Bengaluru is effed. Pollution is already off the charts according to friends who work over there. Sad reality of poor urban planning in India.
YES . THATS THE WORST TRAFFIC PROBLEM IN BANGALORE ELECTRONIC CITY ROAD THIS ISSUE FROM PAST 2007 ..HAPPENED TO WORK DURING 2007 FOR 6 MONTHS ..I LEFT BANGALORE 2007 I NEVER BEEN SINCE THEN YES CHENNAI OMR ALSO HAS SIMILAR ISSUES...AS GOVT SHOULD GET SOUGHT THIS ..WFH WILL ALSO REDUCE THIS PROBLEM
The government should create dedicated bicycle lanes and promote cycling. Many European countries implement this in their major cities, and it has proven effective. Encouraging people to choose cycling offers numerous benefits, so why not embrace it?
the only solution is stop taking ur vehicles .....use public transport..second option is if u have the option to wfh do that....that's the only two solutions at the moment
Why will they not use public transportation? Why consider car which is a comfort machine as status symbol and have a big one for just one or two people travelling?
This is what happens when you focus on only one city in the entire state. Majority of people don't know a single other city apart from Blore in Karnataka, Anyways, now the city has turned into a disaster. Do we even have a strategic planning department in our country?
You are right 6 months back in my area traffic is less compared to other places now traffic suddenly increased because of new car's ( first government have to ban EMI for car's)
The fact that WFH is still not mandatory is the real governance issue. It should be mandatory for all IT companies. Not hybrid. Not office. Permanent WFH. This city is dying. All these companies will jump ship in next decade or so when that happens leaving locals shattered with destroyed city.
Hello Gadkari now what about reverse "toll tax" because these roads aren't providing comfort to the citizens? How about introducing "wait tax refund" ?
China must be laughing at Indian city😂😂 we suck in infrastructure.. Modis tax like Switzerland service like uganda and dreams of smart city flying high on clouds.. Even after 12 years didn't find a single smart city😢 scamgres and Blujp are same.
Bangalore needs planned development of road network. Only one single road cannot suffice. Better to build more roads parallel to existing roads. You cannot build a city in rural infrastructure.
Pune is only 5 lakhs population and u can drive Porsche in Kalyani Nagar 180 kmph ... So empty roads like Autobahn highway 😂 commute office just in 15 min...
@@TheJraghu Pune , Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, mumbai, Delhi , These cities have been regretted , completely Chaos... India needs to focus on other small cities to make it an IT city. For example Mysore etc ... Small cities have space to grow and potentially to accommodate new crowds ... This is the message...
There are no parallel roads in Bangalore. Only one main road or main highway connect the whole electronic City. 2-3 main parallel roads should be built. Even for airport also only one highway is there . 2-3 more 2 way or 4way lens should be there to connect airport
Banglore is full and needs more flyovers to solve this problem. But still cannot be solved fully.. its just reached its maximum capacity.. the people should stop using cars and should start using public transport
Bangalore doesn't need flyover. Bangalore needs to stop selling pvt cars to the public and enforce the public to use public transport. Ban pvt vehicles from roads on peak hours and like a whip everything will fall in place
You have no idea about the maximum capacity. Just go to North Bangalore near New Yelahanka and you will be shocked to see green spaces give way to new residential apartments. The BBMP has become a shell of what it once was and cannot manage the unchecked urbanization. Bangalore is set to become worse, much worse.

I like the simple quiet life in the villages.. with the minimum.. the urban life is just too hopless.
This route is Jagualar vein of Bangalore IT, I am surprised why BBMP is not giving 100% focus towards it. First people used to suffer at Silk board now that issue is solved after 15 years and now this water logging issue is not a good remark for Bangalore infrastructure

I am not from Karnataka State but I know Bangalore City well.I am ready to give some valuable suggestions regarding improvement of Bengaluru. Main points are: 1. Transportation 🚌 2. garbage disposal 🗑️ 3. Parking 🅿️ 4. City planning 🌆 5. Construction 🚧 More people are coming to Bangalore because,Bangalore is a good City.In the beginning people are flowing to Bangalore from southern states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andra Pradesh. Now scene changed, the people from north Indian states flowing. Bihar,UP, Bengal, Assam........etc. The infrastructure for Karnataka people also not available in Bengaluru. Then all other states people also coming to City, there's a big planning needed.I will say still time' is there to solve big issues of City like Bengaluru.
Congratulations to all the Bengalureans, so educated and financially rich. Taking money from across the state still a city can not be developed properly.
