Solid advice. And to anyone who thinks the guy is trying to give Benidorm a bad name, fellow Benidorm RU-vidrs have said the same. It's just warning people to be extra careful and he's talking through experience. I personally agree and I love Benidorm and haven't personally been a victim of any crime or anyone I know. It's a place where I feel very safe as a solo traveller that's why I keep going back. Please don't let it put you off going, just be vigilant and have a great holiday

In benidorm for Christmas, quiet a few beggars about,DON'T interact with them,Do Not look at them,just keep walking past.Please Please do not take your passport out with you.If you feel something is wrong walk into the nearest shop or pub and ask for help.

A top tip attach a little purse to your suspender belt tucking your small purse into your stocking top, that way no one will get your money. Just a tip that I do and it works a treat.

Thank you so much for this info. Didn't realise it is that bad there. We went in May. Been many times but didn't like the Hotel and a fall I had in the street put the kibosh on me going in the pool. Sad really. My knee was cut badly from broken tiles. 😢

Just take a picture of it on your phone Simples

You wont be asked for ID at ANY drinking establishment! Leave your ID in your hotel. Same in most holiday resorts in the world. Take a photo of your hotel name , so you can show it to a taxi driver if you get separated from your friends. 😊

Never take a lot of cash out at all times they can't take it if you don't have it

Always make a photo copy, a photo and if your passport is lost and you can take it to the British Embassy if you lose your passport.

You are advocating for tourists to break the law? It’s law in Spain for foreigners to carry their passport. You must be able to produce your passport when required to by police. To not carry your passport is breaking the law.

I go out and wear my £20k Rolex. Never had any concerns over there.

Never had a wallet always put cash down in your front pocket if possible

Be careful when you arrive at your hotel on the coach ,2 people were fleeced just getting off the coach getting their suitcases ,this is another common one ,
