Been here once a year for the last 10 years very nice indeed however the pool is now a lot shallower than it used to be.

Once my favourite hotel along with the Regente alas the Regente is very plastic in it's appearance. The newly refurbished Riudor looks much better. Thank you for your excellent video as always very much appreciated.

The pool is smaller now. They have taken away the smaller pool that was separated by a metal fence. It is also shallow at one end.

That is why it's called a relaxing/chillout pool, and it's generally not for swimming 😊

How far is it from the outside market and the bar where Benidorm was made

Not far, walking distance, around 10-15min, depends how fast you walk

Is Valencia that much further to fly into than Alicante ?

I would say yes, it's twice of a distance (100km) comparing to alc (52km more or less)

Nice renovation but visitors need to be aware that the location is not the best (if you want quiet) as its right next to and overlook some very noisey music bars and right on the strip. Some of these rooms look directly over the main street (which is fine if you are not coming back to the hotel until 4 in the morning)

Never had a problem with noise on my many visits, once the balcony door is closed I found it very quite.

No litter bins or ash trays

Ash trays are on the terrace where it's allowed to smoke, in all other places you won't find them since obviously it's not allowed to smoke 🤷‍♀️ bins are in the bar, near the pool by the food truck, in the bathrooms in public areas, and rooms
