We moved to Portugal in April last year. We rarely watch UK TV or keep up with the news. Much less stress in our lives. We love the extra vitamin D and the laidback lifestyle 😊 Our biggest stress is, will our favourite lunchtime restaurant have a table free for us - two courses, with salad/olives/bread, with half a litre of wine for €10 each!

Love Benidorm, lived and worked there as an entertainer in ealry 90's .😍🤩 Early part of your video you are in the old town . The old town is where all the narrow streets are . If you are walking along the Seafront where the bars are just a few feet away on the Levanate beach is the newer part of Benidorm

Really great video. I just got back from Santa Susanna, and I’m on a Keto diet,but it worked out okay, half a chicken with salad, steak and salad, salmon and definitely no chips. Safe to say I don’t want any more salad so I’m going carnivore, but I’ve reversed Type 2 Diabetes and lost over 2 stones.

Hi Sharon your vest top is lovely, Martin suits those new sunglasses 😎 I can’t understand why you both only got 1 plate of mixed vegetables to share, I watched Mac master while he visited sherry’s for a Sunday dinner he got 1 plate of mixed vegetables for himself and 2 scoops of mashed potatoes… I’d be fuming if I wasn’t served the same portions as him.. ohh!! Sharon you hit the nail on the head, your Sunday roast is well better. Just to let you both know, hotel marina resort benidorm allows anyone who isn’t staying at the hotel to use their pool and they have the secret garden bar on the balcony, live entertainment is about 4-5pm fab singers and atmosphere in the open air, if you look inside the hotel on the entertainment board they have a full list of the times and entertainment available for each day. I watched an elvis impersonator who sings in the lounge bar next to the pool in the evening, he was fab.. they also had an evening with Spanish dancers,dancing on the big concert circle in the middle of the pool absolutely stunning 🤩 The bar prices for drinks are reasonable too!! If you have chance while your still on holiday go and have a mooch to see if you fancy any of the entertainment or just chill around the pool or go up the ramp to the secret garden. The hotel is 200 metres from levante beach, am sure Sharon can use her google maps to find it. Benidorm was the first holiday I had abroad back in the late 1970s. With a friend who had a cousin or some relative that lived in a block of flats over looking a hotel and their swimming pool. You had to walk if I remember right, under a under pass to get to the beach. You could walk to the old town. And to part of the laventy section of Benidorm. Or go further on by bus or taxis. I had my birthday out there. Fantastic holiday. Love swimming in the sea. And the pool. I would love to go there again. To see the hotel were the TV show Benidorm was filmed. I watch it when it is on TV, because I record it. ❤❤🎉🎉😊😮

We have just come back to the UK after 30 years in Spain. We loved Spain. Miss it terribly. Benidorm was a 45 min drive from us. In the Winter it was nice to have a wonder around. We were inland in a lovely Spanish village. Enjoy your time there.

I’m an old babe then haha. “ Do I look like the fonze?”. “No “love” said Sharon , “the fonze had more hair” haha you both brilliant ❤❤. I agree there is so much to see and do in Benidorom. The tribute acts are amazing. You can have it quite, or large. Benidorom has something for everyone. We as a family with kids have been going for 30 years, off and on , and now it’s just the old man and I, we still love the place. There is always something different to see. Hello as a frequent cramp suffer I can recommend salt if you near a salt pot about 1/4 tsp on palm of hand lick it I carry a sachet in my purse wallet or on bedside table It relief s cramp quickly enjoy rest of your holiday

From what we saw that looked like a fair review. I also think living in a country where you do not watch TV News or read the negative papers would make life less stressful, everybody has an agenda. I'm a Brit in the USA, The News is never good, Politics and the financial issues are always scaring us, its a roller coaster of emotions, we have got to point where its too depressing, so we don't watch the News, sadly I switch on my PC and the news is still there.
