I think the beer prices are still very reasonable compared to other destinations , the only problem I've found for this year is the prices to get to Benidorm have doubled and in some cases even more than doubled , which may stop people coming

Uncle Peds still represents good value. We would pop there for a couple of pints on the way out after breakfast then go to more other bars in the evening.

You can always find a good bar with low prices...unfortunately the price of the actual holiday/hotels/flights has gone up!..hope Benidorm doesn't price itself out of market!!🤞🤞

Hi Lucy a belated happy new year. Your videos really keep us updated me and the wife arriving in Benidorm on 25th February staying for 5 days love the place been visiting Benidorm since 1980 and alto the basic layout is the same a lot of bars have disappeared over the years. One bar I have great memories is the famous Scotsman bar which is now a kebab eatery next door to scruffy murphys used to come down the yellow brick road from Rio park and always visited the Scotsman bar I think it’s been closed about 20 years now used to be a big guy Charlie and Son Angus from Aberdeen I think that owned it . Time moved on I’m of that age 60+ now lol me and the wife really enjoy your Chanel we visited you couple of years back in winners bar . We just came back last weekend, and didn't see much change in prices. I'd imagine the bars on the beachfront put the prices up slightly when they have entertainment on at lunchtime. Good to see Taverna de Calamari featured - we had a few visits there over Christmas/New Year 🙂

Hiya me beauty. Prices are up everywhere so can't complain really. Just shop around and you can still get a good bargain. Last 3 holidays for me have been lanzarote. Going again in February. And it's really cheap not running down benidorm but you can still get a 1 eruo pint. 1.50 pint. Dearest is 2.80. Cocktails 5 eruo each. And holidays are cheap for one week in February under 500 including flights luggage transfers insurance. At porta del carmen....look after you're self ❤ x

I’m here in Beni now, we’ve been going Riviera hotel bar as they have some decent deals on buckets of 5 bottles, also they do an excellent hot coffee +bikkie with choice of Tia Maria, Baileys or Brandy for €2.10, great value for money, and if you time it right you might get a seat in the sun trapped terrace

@@cowboykenny21 well it’s been anywhere between 15-20c this last week, if your in the sun its warm, but if the winds blowing or your in the shade it feels cold, so if your coming over bring a warm coat with you.

Western saloon last week when we were there were doing 5 mahou in a bucket for 9 euros and amstel 1.5 euros a bottle at the rockstar bar it was 1.5 for a pint but it wasnt great back in feb cant wait

Great stuff as usual! Makes me want to be back there right this minute... ++sad face++ Oh, BTW, I've found your "Hollywood doppelganger" - just watched a fillum called "Mercy Falls" (Quick review: very watchable and enjoyable if you can swallow the worst ever decision made by a group of people lost in the woods, ever, at around 1/3 of the way in. From then on, it's just more insane decisions all the way to the finish line!) and the lead actor, Lauren Lyle, could play you in the movie version of "Benidorm Stuff"! She looks less like you when she's glammed up, and more like you in the actual fillum. Edit: that sounded ruder towards you than it was in my head! Soz! Hugs Rxx

Overall not too much more ... However, have noticed in a few places ... Spirit prices the same or similar, measures in the glass has dropped a tad. Especially my tipple of baileys disguised by more ice! 😂. Maybe just the places we were in though. Can't complaint though compared to most places in the world.

Uncle Peds have much lower overheads as they own the building outright (no rent) and have a massive cellar area to buy and store ridiculous amounts of stock (the more you buy the cheaper it is) That's why they can sell stuff so cheap, not many bars have the same advantages.

Yeah Spoons is the cheapest place in the Uk. So compare it to Uncle Peds prices and Uncle Peds is cheaper. Compare the other bars to regular UK bars and i think you'll see Benidorm bars are still cheaper.

It's OK comparing the prices from last year but what about the bars that advertise a pint but only serve you 400ml and not the full 568ml that is a pint. I do know of one bar that will server me in a pint glass but does adjust the price to reflect this which suites me, because I do like a pint to drink.

I think the whole 568ml thing is a proper pint bottle tho , like a large smithwicks , harp or an old school bottle of Guinness. They were 568ml . A pint in general is a half litre therefore 500ml . But I’m on your side !!

@@postintheocean If you are in the UK a pint is 568 ml and in a pub you have to use a glass with a One pint mark on it or you will get done by weights and measures. I used to work in a pub and run a bar.

Hi Lucy i fully except the comparisons you've done are valid and correct but there is a Trick in every Trade and what these places are showing is correct but like any Business they will have ways that are not shown or talked about in Public of increasing revenue.But Lucy I'm sure if you include the Total cost of the Holiday Taxis .At the Airport . Hotels .Meals. Everything until you arrive back at your House it will have gone up more in percentage terms than many People's incomes that's where it Hurts but i will end by Saying Benidorm is still better value than most resorts but it is starting to gone in the wrong Direction if you include every thing not just Alcohol.
