The Police don`t seem to be bothered. The Pea people have look out to spot the Police who drive around in the VERY conspicuous cars or bikes and are spotted within seconds. Why don`t the Police walk around uncover to blend in. They would catch these con men every time. Its not rocket science
Brilliant video, Lucy. It may all seem very obvious, but when you're young and under the influence a lot of this stuff goes out of the window. And please please people look after your friends. Never leave anyone behind!!
Photograph your hotel "put it on FIND MY 🚗 CAR" . Dont lose your phone 😅 My phone gives the address of where the photo was taken, (swipe up on the photo )
I dont speak spanish, so when we were going out to other towns or theme parks etc I took a postcard of the hotel with me, then in the taxi back I just showed the card and said poor favor and it worked a treat.

I new about the pee men so did not have a go but did watch, I got pic pocketed why i was watching ,,, but the funny thing was, ( it was not funny guys) they put my wallet back in may pocket so i did not know till i went to pay for a drink 3 mins later,,, so all i can say it guys is, Take head to what Lucy is saying x
Have you come across the "Hugger Muggers" I have and lost 200 euro's, They come on , like they are your friend and kid you up they have not seen you for awhile, which seems plausible if you only holiday about 2 weeks in a year to the same resort. They will hug you and say they remember you, meanwhile i was trying to recall who they could be, my mind was busy, and they rifled my pockets! then they leave, for you to find out, a bit later that your pockets have been emptied.
in 1988 I found my soulmate in Benidorm and we still going back, we will be there 19 April and stay for 12 days in a brilliant apartment....He's was from Nottingham and I from The Hague...love Benidorm! We live now in The Hague
I’ve got an anti theft backpack where the zip to your bag is against your back, I’ve used this many times in Benidorm & lucky I did because a few years ago I was accosted on the strip & this random bloke grabbed me & hugged me & I felt him rumaging around my bag but he didn’t get anything thankfully

It is very important to know where you are stopping in any resort . I remember years ago at a training provider someone phoned up one of the advisors as she had a job interview placement arranged , and she was lost, she gave the location as I am stood by a tree or a lamp post

Ahh that's still Levante, i think Poniente would suit you better. sounds like you only saw a very small part of Benidorm really, and during one of the busiest weeks of the year. Not the best time to come if you like it quiet! Have a look at our Poniente videos, we'll be doing another one soon 👍
When I go anywhere I look out for a tall landmark or building near our hotel or apartments and make a note of the street name .I make bracelets with the name of the hotel or apartments , so nobody should get lost. Kids especially.
lol I did the whole lost my hotel , years ago , went with a mate , allocation on arrival, got there dead late got dropped off by the coach , ran into reception booked in , put cases in room and went out , to have drinks , lost my mate some where , and didn’t have a clue what the hotel was called he had the key , had to sleep on the beach then in the morning walked into nearby hotel and had to phone up the tour operator to find out where I was stopping, 😢, never made that mistake again

When I went on lads trips when I was 18 - 19, I used to put my luggage label around my wrist on my first night out, so I could show it to a taxi driver!!!!
Just back from Benidorm 27/07/24. Watched for a week the Police playing cat and mouse with the cocktail sellers. There is loads of Police along the front but they tend not to come on the sand so you see the sellers standing still while the police drive by. One lad did get stopped 2 days in a row but he was back again selling the next day. 10 Euros a cocktail and yes they are made in a dirty van on the street so tell them to go away.
Well wear a bumbag so you can feel your money and phone you can put it around your waist and you no were. Every thing is and just put were you are staying on your phone or on a bit of paper or just stay in the. Hotel but just go out injoy yourself but dont go over the top good blog lucy happy easter and keep safe and keep smiling
How can you not know the name of your hotel? I genuinely cant grasp that at all😂 This is just basic stuff. Also dont get why people have their phones out on tables anyway. If I'm with friends or family and theyre constantly looking at their phones I find it rude and irritating tbh. Just put it in your pocket or handbag unless you need to use it. Nobody needs a phone in view 24/7
Just FYI, I have been to Benidorm 4 times now and every time it has been AMAZING! Girls holidays here are fantastic!!! Just be careful as a young woman walking the streets of the New Town strips at night time. My friend got grabbed and pulled to the side aggressively and felt up by an Indian man who kept telling her she was beautiful and asking if she wanted to buy some cocaine. We do not do coke and tried to explain this but he kept grabbing my friend everywhere and wrapped his arm tightly around her neck when I tried to help release her from him. After this we literally ran away from him (in heels hahahaha) but literally met another one 2 minutes later who started touching me. Please be careful as a woman walking those streets. I was also grabbed twice by men in a pub while watching a blood Elvis tribute??? No one helped or even cared, they just watched. This man must have been around 60 and the other around 40 something. It was really unpleasant.
An exotic dancer (stripper but didn’t take EVERYTHING off, idk if dancer is the right term but whatever hahah) came down from her stage for a few seconds to compliment my nails though and then jumped back onstage and I just thought that was really lovely of her 🥹 it’s not often you get compliments in Benidorm without someone expecting *something* in return lol.
@@LucyYoungTBE excellent thanks. I'm moving to Málaga region and it's difficult to find info on which level the English speakers have to be able to get by. I'm at A2 now. But when I'm over there and in conversation I'm lost! The real life dialect is so different.

Hi Lucy, mentioned last year about certain bars taking your money then forget about the change, waited 45 minutes and asked 3 times until eventually receiving the change but others left without, if its a couple of euros most just walk away but 15-18 euros. seen this in more than one bar.
I only remember Benidorm from 1964-1973.😅 Also, I remember monkeys in cages on the big strip. I'm glad they went away with that personally. I think it was torture for the monkeys🐒 Thank you for your video. All the best from Tx. US🌵🐂 🌞
Watched the 'cocktail' people earlier this year. We actually passed the drinks hiding in the alleyway at the top of the steps. They stood looking out for the police. Scumbags.
So the “ pea men “ have multiple lookouts and when they spot the copper they scarper, have the coppers over there ever heard of “ plain clothes “ ? I mean come on, it’s not exactly rocket science is it, if they really wanted rid of them it’s so bloody easy to achieve, someone on the take ???????????
