#BackInTheDay , Margi Clarke had been so typecast as a tough, hard faced female, and it is lovely that this character showed her warmer, caring side. Back in the 1990's I was fortunate enough to meet her briefly at the opening of a 'Gay Night' called 'Fruity' in North Wales. She was so adorably down to Earth, warm and friendly, whilst retaining that knowing twinkle in her eye and a cheeky quip. It was a true pleasure meeting her, a treasured memory. She really is the epitome of Northern hospitality. x
The show was class but when the episodes got longer it felt more like 15 mins of filler instead of new content. It just went downhill when the Garveys left
