I would love to see the Schmo blend more with his real personality, but geez, it's kind of hard to mess with a recipe that is succeeding so well. His on-camera personality, I think, puts the people at ease once they get that the joke, if there is one, is on the Schmo. Like Beniel said, Schmo isn't a joke, he's the real deal. Either way, he's the best interviewer out there, including all sports and all sports media. I say this being a former college football reporter. Schmo is as good as it gets.
