Good to see it up and running, When I saw it in the late nineties it was a ghost town. Club 18’s to 30’s messed up Benitsee and Kasiopi was Cofu’s gem back in the day.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that Benitses is back to its vibrant self. It's always interesting to see how places change over time. Kassiopi is still a wonderful spot to visit. Hope you get to explore them again!
I was there in 1993, a whole different place it was then,cost around £275 self catering with airtours there was 1 communal swimming pool next to 1 of the night clubs, I do remember taking £300 in drachma for two weeks, partying hard every night, paying for excursions and visiting Kavos one night, it was the equivalent of 30p a bottle in the bars but you could buy one twice the size from a shop next door to the bar for the same price and I even returned home with gifts and cigarettes and spare money, it was so cheap then.
