Been playing this song for a few months, just realized why i couldn't get the G chord to sound right.....He's playing, almost like a D5 with a G note....Gsus2?? 300230 - 300235. This has made all the difference....Eureka!
idk why but everytime he does these live issues he starts the song fast and then slows down to tempo when he starts singing like he gets into his badass music zone
not only does it sound great, it's got a unique touch where he carved a mountain silhouette into it. pretty guitar, dont know why someone would suggest a new one.
I think he's playing the high E string open (capo on 4th fret), making the chord D#madd11. Its the D#minor chord with the 4th (same as 11th) note of the scale added :) if you try this it should sound different to the regular D# minor!
He sounds like his voice is a bit strained here. But I saw him live in April and I can tell you he is superb. Better than in the recordings. Incredible atmosphere.
