Definitely the song. The video should have been shot outside, a speedboat or convertible on a summer`s day, maybe even both inserted in-between of the performance as flashbacks of Ingrosso and the girl from the lyrics - but not in a studio setting, performed outside: summer garden, beach, or similar. Would have cost a little more, so maybe it is not worth the costs these days? In the 90`s more going on in the video, would have been a must to break Europe, or world wide. But videos are not as important as they once were. So maybe this will do in a world were Spotify and live performances rules?
@@Tvjunkieful12no, this is not really a love song but obviously most people probably interpret it as a love song... and it simply is a song that people can interpret however they want... He dedicated this song for his sister so a neutral video like this is the best.
@@peixeess It is not about the song as a song - I have no problem with the song. It is how effective the video is at selling the song and artist to new audiences where I feel this video has significant potential for improvement. A song like this has potential to cross over to more demographics groups, provided the image matches the expectations of those demographic groups. I fear flowers in a white studio setting will deter more potential viewers than they would attract, and as a consequence the song will lose out on both clicks and airtime on tv channels a video more in line with expectations of a summer song would have had. But hopefully for Ingrosso, videos are not as important these days as some years ago. The right video used to be the make, or break, of hits. Not only did the video have to be cool in itself, it also needed the shifts in frames and pace of footage to match the rhytm and shifts in the song, but most importantly to present the artist in a way that appealed to a broad specter of demographic groups. In this day and age, when it is not tv stations that decides which videos to air, but individuals who decide which videos to share, I will imagine making videos that appear to as broad a range of demographic groups as possible to be as important as ever. The fans of an artist are easy to please. It is expanding the fanbase into increasingly larger circles which susstain a career for an artist decade after decade.
