Quite simple, however still engaging )) Instead of bothering with the window position, you could just increase the scale and center your footage at the very beginning. And btw, speaking about the opening window, it would be much easier just to change the anchor points: move the anchor point of the left window to the left side, and move the anchor point of the right window to the right side, and then just animate orientation to a negative value. As a result, the windows would open inside the building.

If I don't have a drone can I take a pictures of the building and create a zoom effect and fake it as a drone one ?

If it’s a high resolution photo, it’s definitely possible. It will definitely take some tweaking and it’ll look different perspective wise as you zoom in but you should be able to make it work

How many times did you have to do this before it became muscle memory?

This specifically? Only ever did it this once and the time before with the hyperlapse through a door video. After a year or two in after effects, it gets to a point where you just know how to use the software to figure things out given the proper time and effort

Just practice and tutorials in general man, I became proficient with all the basics first and learned all the relevant keyboard shortcuts. Then I learned individual effects and started to become very comfortable with everything over time. Just time and practice in general, then you’ll eventually be able to figure out how to do certain effects just by looking at them

Sick vid bro but why didn’t you move the anchor point of the windows to the side and rotate them from that new anchor point instead? Would save all that key framing

Lol I actually did try on my hyperlapse through a door video. Somebody mentioned the same thing on that video and I ended up having to go through and keyframe the anchor point the same exact number of times. So it’s another way of doing it, but didn’t save any time unfortunately

You do realize the anchor point is also moving every single frame right? Wouldn’t save any time at all. There are multiple ways to accomplish any effect.

@@drewkocak I know that there are many ways to achieve the same or similar effect. But in this case, I think the most logical thing is to place the anchor point, and rotate the window, especially if you are doing a tutorial, and there are people who may not know. If you know, maybe you should have do. But that's just my opinion. Stay good
