So after a couple of tries I think i could improve the process even further.
The stepped dril bit makes it just so fast and smooth. It also centers itself in the hanger which is good to have!

y no sticky review yet!? :D JK, great video as always, however the JD Weld mess gives me headache on how to solve this more cleanly.

Have you tried using a small syringe with a large needle for a more precise application? I know it works with regular types of epoxy, but i don’t know if it will work with the jb weld because it is thick.

@@anacalon people have been doing it, it creates a great finish. I'll have to try it at some point!

Rather than epoxy, though it would take a bit more more work and the appropriate tools…one could drill and tap small set screws to keep the bearing in place. This would allow for easier replacement. What size spherical bearing do you use? I’ve been wanting to try this on some of my boards… thanks!

@@sageoz9886 It's a com t6 Spherical! It would Maybe possible, but is a lot of work with lots of room to mess up. This is quick and dirty, but cheap and easily doable!

Could you recommend the exact type of bushings it would be best to use with this once modded for pumping use? I know very little about it, so please walk me through it like a beginner who doesn't know what is what. Is it ok to use a modded bennet both front and back for pumping?
@skate-horizons
@skate-horizons 7 дней назад
@@TheJs12347777 well exact is always hard and a lot of it is preference but going for a tall riptide aps with something like 70a or 80a roadside and a normal barrel 85a board side is a decent starting point! The back is ideally not a Bennett, but a truck that sits more parallel to the ground. You can try sk8kings "SK8KINGS COMPLETER KIT - EVERYTHING BUT THE DECK- SLALOM/LDP/CRUISE" I will make a video for a beginner setup,.that explains this in detail! But itll take a while

@@skate-horizons ahhh so mainly for pumping... hmm i think i get it... it reduces friction right... so more energy goes to actual movement... gotcha
