Just look at the expression on Benny's face when he walks into that wharehouse part of the factory! Priceless. I think we all know exactly how he feels!! And the brushwork on that stack of boxes................................................ Hell, Steve Smith would be proud! I think I would definitely get arrested in that factory! Thanks for the upload, cool vid!!
ya know, i LOVE the feel of those, and i've had 6-7 pairs, but for some reason i break those really fast. good ol' fashion hickory lasts me forever though. I've been playing on the same pair of hickory's for almost 6 months now.
I'm currently using Millenium II 2B, I broke a pair yesterday, after 6 months! I think those were the most long lasting Sticks I've had, actually they lasted more than AHEAD, I did break a cymbal with my ahead's pair too :(
@spacitydrummer4JC I've tinkered with a few ProMark sticks, including Benny's. Overall, I liked Benny's stick, though I tend to play with a heavier model. The only complaints I have are with ProMark in general, and not with Benny's stick itself. YMMV, of course.
Sooo, I saw this years ago, when I started to play, and I was, wow! his sticks have his signature on! Today my own signature sticks arrived, it was a truly magical experience :')
vater last quite well because they have a higher moisture content then alot of other sticks but for alot of people (myself included) they chip away round the middle where i play alot of rimshots. if your having trouble with sticks breaking alot and you have also broken cymbals you might need to look at your playing style though and maybe try to control how hard you hit a bit more.
best sticks ive ever used i mean hell im in love with the japanese oaks if u havent tried them... then why are u wasting ur time reading this instead of buying ones ;)
LOL @ Vic Firth being better... My ProMark 2B's have lasted MUCH longer than my Vic Firth's, and the 2B's are my primary sticks. To top that, the Vic Firth's are thicker and longer than the ProMark's. ProMark ftw.
