¡Qué humor más fino de Benny Hill! Picaro, sin llegar a la vulgaridad. Los "humoristas" actuales tienen demasiado que aprender de sus rutinas. Cuanto reí y disfrute de su humor inteligente en mi juventud. Entendible para todos pues era expresivo, gran aplicación de las técnicas del cine mudo.
@Thou Swell Benny, Jack Wright, Bob Todd and Henry McGee were such a great core to base the show and sketches on. I remember before Jack (in the older episodes/shows from the early-mid 70s), there was another old man but I don't know what his name was.
The funniest thing to me about all this is that if Robin Hood was real, the elites of England most likely spoke French at the time he lived. The only two things I would have done differently are; during the sequence with the monk and the guy hiding in the monk's robe and the guard questioning, when the monk raises his robe, a group of nuns in head-coverings and lingerie run out from under it while the guy that was hiding chases off after them, and during the robin and marian sequence at the end, marian accidentally drinks the poisoned drink, then robin gets distraught, tries to drink it, but there isn't any left, so we end on him making a 'why me' face and storming out.
