this sound is the missing link between UKG and Dubstep. I would simply call this 2step. Benny Ill is the godfather of Dubstep, he started it all along with his mates from Horsepower Productions

They were exciting times!! I used to locking into SLT Mob and Bass Inject Crew on Y2K FM, also Bachelor Crew, DJ Paradise and DJ Jason H on London Underground FM who supported this sound.
