@@yahyaibnmartey7626 These guys are really talking about "that sound" which is a clear throwback to what they grew up on. Even the producer himself is a throwback to "that sound". There is hope that a more varied form of hip hop comes back where not all artists sound the same and babble on the same subject matter. Here, the drums are on point, a nice cool laid back sample sets the mood and an artist that feels like he's talking to the listener rather than empty performative showmanship is what folks are digging. The children of today need to get back to the instruments in order to create a new wave of this moving forward.

I’m going to try this on in the car to give it a good chance, but the beat is too “light” for me, especially if you compare it to my favorite two. Super Plug is my #3. Lyrics are always on point and deep, but the beat for the 3 I mentioned to me are on another level.
