Nah I believe Benny was being honest. For some reason, I know a ton of people who are old school hip hop heads and know the history of it, but don't really enjoy Kendrick, and I don't know why. They are dismissive of him, and it's not like these people are Drake stans or new to the genre. People really do just have different tastes I guess
