I’m going out on a limb to say that Griselda (label wise) probably has the quickest rise to legendary status in hip hop history…them niggas dropped 2 decades worth of quality and IMPACTFUL shit within 5-6 years it’s crazy
@@ngcebosibiya1190 Pro Era had two nice albums, but then they fell off. Its completely different. Every member of Griselda has 2 or 3 fantastic projects a year. The volume/quality hasn't been done.
@@kaikai9201 what about their albums individually too, 1999 by Joey is one of them ones, CJ Fly's projects especially The way I see it, I believe they have as much classic projects as grieselda just that they were younger and still below 30 and stuck to traditional hip hop
@@ngcebosibiya1190 Pro Era and Joey are nice but nowhere near this level, only other camp that can match/outdo this in terms of quality plus quantity is DUMP GAWDZ. I aint mad at artists that drop an album every few years, Im just amazed how these dudes can just put out work nonstop at a high quality, as ADOM said, 2 decades worth of quality music in 5 years, unheard of
You really don't know sh*t, son. BAD BOY RECORDS killed Griselda on EVERY LEVEL. LMMFAO!!!! First ever release on the label was Craig Mack's single "Flava In Ya Ear", which went platinum (a million units sold). The album went gold (500, 000 units sold). The second artist on the label was Notorious B.I.G. whose first single was the platinum hit "Juicy". The album "Ready to Die" went multi-platinum. Their second and third acts were R&B giants Faith Evans and Total, whose both had debut albums go platinum!! AND THAT WAS ALL IN THE SAME YEAR (1995)Their 5th act was MASE.He went on to sell almost 5x platinum. And that was just the first 2 YEARS!!! We didn't even get on to all those acts SECOND ALBUMS which all went either Gold. platinum or 10x platinum (B.I.G). and then there's the LOX (platinum), 112 (platinum), Black Rob (platinum), Shyne (platinum), Loon (gold), Carl Thomas (platinum)... Let's not talk about Roc-a-Fella records (Jay-Z (multi-platinum), Memphis Bleek (gold), Beanie Sigel (Gold) and Cam'ron....
I love when Benny just let Alchemist n Darringer produce the album. It’s like a slugfest on the beats. They compliment eachother well. Shoutout to Beat Butcha too.
Yo listen man, these boys r the sharpest in the game ,if y’all ain’t know, now u know…plus when u have alchemist production it’s just gonna be flawless… salute Conway n Benny
The ability to spit introspective and deep, yet grimey and hard bars, coupled by a laid back piano riff/boom bap beat is under appreciated. Griselda is more than hip hop: this shit is an art movement
Trill shit tho, da East should be proud of yall. Can't compare you Niggaz to none, on lane wit it. Preciate y'all fr fr. Texas to dat Mid Atlantic 🤟🏿🙏🏿👑🔥
@@Eholy no they are not the only reason and there is a lot of real hip hop still going you just have to look for it and underground and streets and the Legends are still putting out albums left and right
Damn Conway!!! Bodied this!!! They both skated over this Daringer production at ease!!!! Big Shout out to Mary J!!! That's big love if that's true!!! Love this album!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love how these niggaz remain true to family...them opening bars about him and his cuzzin Conway hit my spirit...no ego....and Con verse almost made me cry
Dudes flow and cadence is extremely difficult to top. In Griselda: Benny got the best flow Conway the most lyrically skilled Gunn got the most unique voice
"ayo benny I remember what we used to the fiends that's why it feels so good to see you doing your thing" is one of my favorite opening lines of this decade
Bro just barely listening to this gem of an album.I can't believe mfs were saying Benny was was weakest out of griselda, bro they all bring 🔥🔥🔥 to the table and the production is amazing.Yo, I might put this above kendricks album right now fr...Boldys project was fucking nuts also
