I have questions about gamining i have MI 4K ultra HD TV (50inch) and ps4 pro which runs 3840×something resolution but the graphics dosnt statisify me i mean image quailty is not like that which i seen in this video so main question is should i buy i monitor for high gaming experince or is just waste of money pls answer this or if i buy this monitor then does my games will runs at 60fps ?

Hey, glad you enjoyed the video :) To answer your question, I have previously had that same question, if 1080p on anything larger than 24" was a bad idea. It turned out, it was not as bad as I thought, in fact pretty surprised I found out when I reviewed this 32" 1080p TCL panel here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bbc_K5pk4uw.html That said if you plan to edit, having more resolution to work with, will help you in the long run but I don't think the ps4 slim supports 1440p, so you will end up running games at a none native resolution, so they may not look the best they can be, movies are ok, but games stretched won't look too good. So I guess the EW277HDR might be your only option Hope this helps!

I would look for something with an IPS panel that is designed for designers, color calibrated out of the box, if you want to critical color grading / edit photos and videos. This panel is more of a daily use/gaming panel.

Errrmmm... aren't these the standard setting? Contrast 50%, Color Temp normal, ...? Ok, you might have adjusted the brightness, but that shouldn't really affect the color, right?

GTX 10 series onwards can work with freezync monitors. However, only g-sync compatible certified and certain "untested" monitors will allow the "Freesync" to work properly. I done some research before i planned to buy this monitor, some users say your screen will flicker tho. So it will wokr after u start your game but main menu will flicker

Im searching for weeks and found nothing really great. If u do pls tell me. Im not really care for the price if I would be abel to us it for the next couple years. Most of yt videos are just up with some low budget monitors.

between TN, IPS and VA, VA is the sweetpot imho

You can but it wont look great, depending on what game you play you can change the render resolution but keep the overall resolution for graphics at 4k if you want more performance, COD / Warzone has that option

XBOX One X & Photoshop is a wide range, I do own a TCL Series 4 and I plan to have a video about it soon. It comes down how big you want a screen, for your money the TCL might be a better buy, my series 4 has a good response time, but of course not as good as the BenQ What size do you plan to get if you get the TCL?

I just realized that the title slightly differs from what I say in the video. In the video I say its decent for content creation thanks to its screen resolution real estate as its a gaming panel first. But if you are looking to do critical color correction to photos and video then get a dedicated editing panel.

The zip file has the monitor settings I used as well as the calibrated color profile file, that you tell your computer to use for that monitor.

Hey, as you have saw in the video, I have not seen any brightness bars popup, it just changes. They probably removed that in this model Hope this helps :)

I know this is late reply, but I just got this monitor recently and had the same thing popping-up every time there was a change in the lighting. So I figured out how to turn off that notification was from the monitor's built-in menu, navigate to Eye Care, B.I.+ and Light Meter set it to Off. The other eye-care options should still work fine, but you won't be bothered with that pop-up anymore.

I think he already returned the monitor to benq. Hopefully he can upload the ICC file.

I still got the Monitor on hand actually, I get to keep it, so I can do more testing and future comparison later on for you guys. Now that you have reminded me, let me go grab them

Yes. You will barely ever use 120hz unless you want to spend around £800+ for a 4K TV/monitor that runs at a higher refresh rate.

It won't hurt your eyes, some people may notice a slight shift in color moving outwards from the center, you will only notice it on a flat grey background

I think 2k hdr monitor would be a batter choice since that's the maximum resolution the ps4 pro can achieve (natively) but this is good as well if want to spend a little more

I would also be interested in your settings. However, I understood that when HDR is enabled, you cannot change your settings anymore.

It will really depend on what you are playing, but I think most people will have it off.

Samsung have better colors. Qdot technology is insane.

@@jiririnagl302 hey man, thanks for reply. I went with the benq, been using it on my PS4 pro and as a secondary monitor. If I could go back, I would have picked up the Samsung. Colors are not as good as I had hoped.

But the Samsung U32H850 does not have either HDR nor Freesync right?

I tried running 75hz but it never worked for me, you could be right about freesync, so i will try to test it out next time I am using this monitor and try to share my findings

@@LifeKommando Thx, that's the kind of stuff we have a hard time finding, since they never display it clearly...I saw that Freesync gen 1 could cause some issues, depending on the hardware combined with it, so that might explain why it didn't work in your case... I'm basically looking for an affordable 4K monitor allowing the best "RefreshRate experience" (144hz is out, bc of the price), & if we're stuck with 60hz, Freesync / G-sync are our only savers ^^

Yea at the time G-Sync support was not there but it seems to work fine with G-Sync with my Nvidia Cards after the feature support came out.
