No :) Finally i got Benq GL2460HM. I decide to other one, because in meantime i got the PS3 and i need a HDMI port. Model from video has a HDMI, but in my country i can get only version without it. So i thought about all models once again and bought GL2460HM. There are few differences TN not AMVA display 2ms vs 5ms respond 24 inch vs 21,5 and HDMI port :) It's bigger of course, better for games with less time respond, but i know the AMVA has better collors, viewing angles, and more pixels per inch. I get the other, because i want one monitor for my PC, PS3 and want it quite big for movies, which i watch really a lot :). But i saw the one from video, the other day in shop, and it looks very well, collors, contrast etc. all is very beutifull. But that one i have got it's also very good in collors for that kind of display (TN) It seem that Benq makes very good displays for a mount of prices other brands. So if you can't decide, i surely can recommend the brand. And i think the specifications are also very good. P.S. Sorry for my English and i hope that gonna help you some way ;)

If FullHD is enough for you than it's big enough, but it's not 4K...

yeah HD's fine I was just talking in size of inches as this is only 21.5 inch and I dont know whether it would be better getting a 25inch one

Yes, larger size is also nice, but it also reduces pixel density, pixels might be more visible and brightness will be a bit reduced.

My monitor works fine, colors look well, except from time to time there might be some "ghosting" effect in certain videos, but that I think needs a quicker response time (lower millisecond value) display. It's not a super fast gaming monitor.

I don't own a console, but I think it has to work with this monitor...

+Demian Alexandru (MentalDraco) I didn't played much lately, but is OK for my needs. The higher contrast has its own disadvantage that you see less in darker areas compared to a lower contrast monitor, black are black, not grey. I'm not sure what to say about the image quality and lag because I didn't compared it to more monitors, just my previous one which is shown in this video, but they are pretty similar, no huge difference, mostly the angles are better. The dimensions are shown at 0:39, the visible area's diagonal is 54.6cm.

This monitor has no built-in speakers, only an audio out jack if you use HDMI.

VA panel has higher contrast, that's why darker areas are less visible compared to a TN panel. Higher contrast allows darker blacks but it also makes things less visible. Both monitors were at their default settings, nothing was modified.

+amielskywalker There are 2 values and mostly the lower one is advertised. The grey to grey value is 5ms and for other shades/colors is 25ms.

I don't own any higher performance gaming monitors, so I can't really compare it, but performance wise is highly similar to the 2ms ASUS monitor visible in the video.

If possible use the cable which came with the monitor. It's the same cable as the one which enters into the power supply unit of the PC case.

If you're watching a 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratio image on this 16:9 monitor and the image is "stretched to fill" than it will be stretched. Otherwise just try to make the program that you are using keep the aspect ratio.

My monitor is working fine till now, no problems at all.

Related to the real 25ms response time, in some videos the image from time to time can look a it blurry, but when paused the image is clear. This I think requires a faster response time display.

furulevi hey thanks for your insight. but this monitor is definitely better than LG W1943S right? the specs said it also have 5ms GtG, but i dont really notice anything much when using it. if its better, then i guess i dont have to worry

+TheCrazzyFace A tiny bit less well as my older 2ms monitor, but it's not really noticeable, so it's good. Maybe a 140Hz monitor would make a bigger difference...

I don't own a PS but I think you could do that... I also use the speakers through HDMI on my PC and is working well. (The speakers are plugged into the monitor, and the monitor is connected to the PC via HDMI)

Yes you can, i have some other model but from benq also, and i have PC and PS3 with it, and sound is forwarded by HDMI. BTW. HDMI always have and audio, and it must be some shity product if it have has and jack port, but not respond to audio from hdmi.

Gw2270H has HDMI ports (that carries both audio and video).

5ms for Gray to Gray (GTG), and 25ms for other shades. Always the lower value is advertised.

Yes, I use some small PC speakers on that output.

Just make sure you use the HDMI cable to connect the monitor to the PC, because otherwise no sound will enter into the monitor!

That depends on your monitor, HDMI v1.4 supports maximum 3840x2160 at only 30Hz, for 4K (4096x2160) 60fps you need HDMI 2.0.

Since there is nothing mentioned on the monitor's web-page, in my opinion it has to be lower than 2.0...

For me it's enough, but if you place higher refresh rate (Hertz) and lower response time (milliseconds) monitor next to it than you will probably see the difference.

I'm not sure, I used a 1.4 cable (visible at 3:49). 2.0 supports 4K at 60fps, but this is only a 1080p monitor at 60 fps/Hz.

Mine works perfectly... isn't the graphics-card sending that damaged signal to the monitor? Try another monitor also using the same graphics-card. Update display driver, check for overheating GPU, or CPU, bad RAM.

It does the same thing on my playstation, also tried 3 different HDMI cords so I'm certain it's the monitor, the picture was great for 3 weeks and now it's going to crap again.

Hey I fixed it, I literally tapped the back of the monitor turned it off and on and the screen is perfect again and ideas what might be up? I checked the Amazon review section and other people have had the same problem with this model.

Maybe some electric connections are not perfect... check the power cable also.

I don't play too many games nowadays, so I can't say, but is fine for me... On very high settings you won't have too many frames anyhow, so a 60 Hz monitor like this would be fine in my opinion.

There are two versions of this monitor one is the GW2270 that only comes with D-SUB & DVI. While this one in the video is the GW2270H which comes with two HDMI, VGA & Headphones out.
