Thanks. Could do, but there are so many factors there, that unless you had the same manufacturer etc it would be a pretty pointless video (think input lag for example)

The hotkey works until the computer is restarted. When rebooted, the port settings and image in Display Pilot are unchecked! anyone got the same ?

Depends if you want to calibrate your monitor. I'd suggest looking into the benefits of having one Vs not, then making your decision.

Hi, thanks for the great video! Can you recommend this monitor for coding and surfing the web, considering I don't have a colorimeter? Is it worth even paying attention to color deviations in my case. And another question - I would like kvm and USB-C, but but I can refuse them if the predecessor is really better. Does it make sense to abandon the old model in addition to cost and brightness?

Thanks! I guess for you, colour accuracy isn't important, so that'd be fine. As you know the brightness and functionality, I'd say if KVM and Type-C are important, then this would be a good pick

Hello totallydubbedHD, I just want to say, that PD2700Q has also 8 bit panel +2FRC, so it finnaly gives 10 bit color depth.

@@Lorenzo-ou9qd if it's sRGB, then any monitor that I've reviewed that has the best sRGB colour accuracy would be my pick. If you were looking at different colour spaces, that's where the differences between models might be!

@@TotallydubbedHD So if I am looking for sRGB the 100% accuracy of Benq or the 99% of Dell are so near that 1% doesn't make any difference? Or this 1% has a fondamental role in terms of color? Sorry, but it's my first "professional" monitor

@@Lorenzo-ou9qd don't worry about asking questions - that's what the comments section is for! There's a difference between the colour gamut they cover and then the actual colour ACCURACY. And I test against the sRGB standard; here the BenQ his an average Delta E of 1.04 (closer to 0 is what you're looking for), with a maximum of 2.1 - which is really good. I don't know what the Dell manages, as I haven't tested it.

Thank you so much for your clear, detailed reviews! I'd be curious for your take on my situation. I'm totally torn on getting a BenQ PD2705Q vs a Lenovo Q27h-20. I do light video editing and graphic design but no intense color editing. I'm also a casual gamer, and I'll be using the monitor as a USB hub for my laptop (for mouse, keyboard, mic, etc.). I love the minimal aesthetic of the Lenovo Q27h-20 with no edges on any side, but the silver monitor color doesn't match my desk setup and the USBs would stick out the back rather than down. The BenQ PD2705Q ticks the opposites of all those points, but also doesn't have as many nits and my home office is in a pretty bright sun room. I appreciate your time and energy.

Hello. Is this monitor good pick for web browsing/youtubue watching/occasional gaming/skype. Do these graphic functions somehow worsen daily usage or are they only an upgrade? I know BenQ has a multimedia monitor 1440p ew2780q but i don't like how it looks and also it has worse stand. Moreover those graphic functions would be useful for video editing. Thanks.

I suggest this to a friend and she says it is very opaque? Like there is no gloss to the screen at all. I never had one but suggested for her after reading reviews...? Is it normal? She was use to an iMac, not even 5K... Thanks for any suggestions!!

Pretty much no screen now is glossy; iMacs are the only ones I can really think of that have a glossy finish - this is because of glare/reflections being really bad on them for most people, but on the flip side black tones are superior on glossy panels.
