The PT2399 delay chip is the kind of digital delay chip that, when used properly, creates an experience where I completely forget that I'm not dealing with a true analog delay. The Benson Delay stretches this classic delay chip well beyond it's listed limitations into dusty, nostalgic corners of sound design and calls forth the spirits of progressively angrier ghosts as you fine tune just how much self oscillation you want. In short, the Benson Delay is wonderful, warm, and well balanced.
