I like the independent control switches, but it would have been nice if the 2 switches were ganged so you could have a choice of either independent control or both at the same time.

Here is a quick tip for you, take some 5 minute clear epoxy and a small brush and lightly coat the outer edge of the switch faceplate. This will help keep the white vinyl decal from separating and curling up on the edges and looking bad over time. Mine started to do this after one season and you cannot purchase a new faceplate by itself. It's been four years since I applied the epoxy and it is holding up well. I may at some point have a custom one made at a trophy shop in the future.

Does Bulldog sell just the landing gear pins that stay back when you rotate them? I own a 360ibl with the JT Strong Arms and it's very difficult to raise and lower the legs with one hand while holding the pin out with the other hand. I have searched the Internet and haven't found pins that lock out. Great channel with a lot of good info.

Good video. I installed this same set on my 5th wheel. I kept having trouble with the single motor/crossbar setup. I even broke a gear on original setup. The only thing I would say that would be an improvement would be that the switch panel have another switch between the 2 independent switches that controlled both at once. So that once you got each leg set and rig level you could have the option to raise them at same time.

Robert Newman, Great idea, but the motors will not run at the same speeds without any way to index them to each other, which would probably over complicate & over price the upgrade. Just my $0.02.

My fifth wheel actually has the 3 switches (a Glendale titanium). It was serendipity that I purchased a 5er set up like that, having no idea how useful it would be. I'm generally not in paved level sites, so it's very handy.

I know this is an older video, but I'm looking into doing this to my wolfpack 365pack16. The only issue I will have is how to feed the right side jack into place because of the onboard generator right next to it in its own compartment...not too sure at this moment.

Nice. They probably had the bolts in that way incase the nut came loose or off, you wouldn`t lose the landing gear.

Hey BTBRV, I have a question for ya. My 2017 Cardinal 5th wheel has nothing electrical other than to the power for the hydraulic motor. Landing gear, stabilizer Jack and slides are all hydraulic. What are the draw backs to this system vs. electric?

off topic can you do a video on the steps required to hooking up the Ford to a trailer and the ganes and running through the computer. When I'm hooked up to the truck the truck says trailer not connected. When I unhook the truck from the trailer it says trailer is connected. WTF. Getting frustrated

I know it’s not funny that they put the bolts in the way they did. They are keeping work at RV places in business and making this kind of work more expensive for those that don’t do it themselves. My trailer already had an upgrade from the beginning, thought it’s much heavier than what you installed. So much so that it will lift the trailer and my F450 off the ground. It’s very similar to what a semi trailer has only its hydraulic. That was a $4,000 upgrade by the paperwork. Glad you got it done.

If the landing gear was damaged by a hurricane event then would you qualify for insurance claim to offset your expense? Or woyld deductible make it pointless?

the deductible doesn't make it worth it. Plus, it probably wasn't bent enough to qualify.
