Bentley (12 mos) meets his new brother (biological half-brother) Finn, who is 10 weeks old. This video is a compilation of clips from their first two days together.
The big doggo is kinda mean to the small one, the puppy is really trying to assert his boundaries and even tries to bite, but Bentley doesn't respect it. Pawing on him, stealing his things and putting himself over Finn like that is what could make Finn later bite instantly as a response to someone crossing his boundaries. They are both very cute though! I wish you all healthy and happy doggies
@inu4771 Yea, you hit on the concerns. When Bentley gets too excited, we separate them. And we have been concerned that Bs continual rough play will cause Finn to have more aggressive responses in the future. BUT, if Bentley doesn't start the rough play, Finn will. He's not a complete victim as he appears to be in the video. And sometimes they get started when Finn steals something from B. Bentley is very submissive by nature but loves to play, and Finn appears to be more of an alpha. There's also a LOT of jealousy going on. B has had my undivided attention his whole life (13 mos), and now he has to share me.
@@independent900 yeahh i wish you the best luck at raising those two to be good siblings for each other! I know how hard and stressful it can be, but you visibly really love them very very much so i believe you can do it ❤️ have a great day!!!
