In this video I will take a walk along Bentley Mill Way in Walsall. Bentley Mill Way used to be one of the main leisure areas in Walsall. It used to be home to many bars and bars restaurants over the years. It was also the site for the Showcase Cinema which has now been knocked down. In this video you will see the old Chiqquitos Mexican restaurant which is now in a state of disrepair. The only places open now in this area are the Grovesnor Casino and Cinnamon Court. That area used to be busy, The Cinema closed due to The Trade Centre UK wanting it despite them having a Branch at the Old Carcraft on Darlaston Road in Wednesbury, I can see the tip of the Triangle Entrance of the Old Showcase from Bentley Pavilion when I watch Darlaston play. What the two other food like Places wasn't one Ciquitos all I guess closed when Showcase did. Showcase never officially said they were closing nust suspending and then typically the Council allowed Trade Centre to clear the land

oh that casino used to be zone and ethos nightclub, went there one new years eve spent to much on hooch and smirnoff metz. long walk back to the far side of willenhall with snow on the ground and shoes with not much grip!

Tried to make it a entertainment hub with cinema and restaurants and some retail but was never going to survive as there is no public transportation there was some nice restaurants down there which were perfect for the cinema goers but only if you had a car and once cinema became dated it lost custom and the businesses couldn’t survive
