Benue Police Present Cheques To 43 Families Of Deceased Officers 

e Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has presented cash cheques totally forty five points eight million naira to families of diseased police officer killed, maimed or injured in action while still serving in the Nigeria Police
BENUE State Police Commissioner, Steven Yabanet, presented the cheques to forty three families on behalf of the Inspector General of Police as part of the police insurance benefit.
CP Yabanet, who condoles with the families of the diseased while presenting cheques detailing specific amount to the next of kin, admonish them to make judicious use of the money to cater for their family during this hard times.
One of the beneficiaries who spoke on behalf of others while thanking the IGP and the commissioner of police, says he lost his wife in last armed robbery incidence in Otukpo where she was shot , however said the money will go along way supporting the families, .
