One day they beat him up so bad he ended up in coma for 5 days. Doctors had told his mom he wouldn't make it. He barely had any friends, faced a lot of racism in the hood and had no dad. His mom was verbally abusive, had substance abuse issues, was a neglectful parent and had FDIA - she mixed up pills in his food. Proof was his childhood best friend, & he consistently supported his talent as a rapper. While Em was battling issues with massive fame/stardom & substance abuse, Proof got killed. Em od'd shortly after. He's been through a LOT but the Em I seee today - keeps to himself, has built himself a good life; he's sober, is well respected among his peers, at top of his game with his writing and is a great parent. I'm so proud of him. He's strong AF.

It’s also untrue. Em was outside the In Da Club video when Suge pulled up with a bunch of dudes. Em also was from many areas cuz he was bounced around, but hung out in Detroit regularly. Proof snuck him into Osborn HS and he would battle dudes who figured he was pathetic because he was white. 50 also brought in the violence from his own beefs so Em had to deal with all of that because of his affiliation.

My son passed away Oct 22. He was always downtown at St. Andrews Hall. He was always there a white skinned redhead. I just found out last night that him and 2 buddies were there one night and one of his buddies had to pee so he went behind the building. He told me last night when shots were fired he pushed his buddies down and played on top of them to keep them safe. After some of his stories I'm surprised he didn't die somewhere downtown. Just knew his way around Detroit and Eminem was there as he was coming up.
