The most evil drug ever invented, by a long shot. Benzo withdrawal makes quitting heroin, fentanyl, and the rest look like a walk in the park on a gorgeous summer day. It's the most horrifying experience one can endure, and I see why so many people choose to just stay on them indefinitely. My heart goes out to all who are courageously battling this monster. Just remember, it will get better, but the only way out is through. God Bless you all.

So evil! That’s exactly the word I used to those doctors when withdrawal landed me in the ER 4 times in one month from a CT. Abominable suffering.
@rudyferrell
@rudyferrell Год назад
It's not withdrawal, I don't know why people keep calling it that. It's serious brain and nervous system damage. As a matter of fact it harms or destroys every part of the body in some way.
@rudyferrell
@rudyferrell Год назад
@amb4855 why do you call it withdrawal and not brain damage? Have you looked into benfotiamine, ttfd, and choline to help your brain and nervous system repair itself? I would also try lithium orotate. You should really research these things thoroughly, they just might save you from years of unnecessary torturous hell.

@@rudyferrell Thankfully, I’m out of the torturous hell phase and doing well. I consider brain damage to be one of the symptoms of withdrawal.

@@kencabeen7786I have this bad brain lock/brain shut down all the time. It started when i was rapidly tapering oxazepam and it went away for few weeks when I had first time crossovered to valium 10 mg. I could be myself and function. But taper went too fast and brain lock came back. Since then one ct, one month, kindling to klonopin and now tapered from total amount of diazepam 60 mg (klonopin crossover) to 8 mg. I'm homebound and in constant terror and waking up to death and brainlock and that truth I'm homebound and can't do anything or be with anybody. I would have a good life ahead if I heal. Can you give me so hope? I fear I'm the worst with brain not understanding even TV.

Thank you Kathryn. so sorry for what you have endured, and the betrayal of trust from the medical community. I know the bravery and strength it takes to live through the passing of time while experiencing ineffable, insufferable symptoms that rob us of who we truly are/were. I hope things continue to improve for you, and thank you again. Sarah, nz - still passing time - nearly 3 years off benzos taken as prescribed.

People don't understand how devastating this drug can be, even short term in low doses as prescribed. This drug actually causes brain damage very quickly in some people and it can take years to heal from short term use. This medication should be entirely banned, and not even used in a single dose. There are much safer medications to use in ER settings when Siezure control or sedation is necessary. I really don't think this substance is safe in a single dose for a small % of people. So sorry you had to suffer through that, you're amazing and strong 💪, well done 👏

Kathryn, it’s been 10 months since you’ve made this video. I’m curious, how are you doing? And thank you for doing this video. My BIL is a doctor and the other day, he mentioned he was going to take Atavan to help him sleep. So out of curiosity, I wanted to do a little research. Oh my, I never knew any of this. I can’t believe what a nightmare these drugs are.

The second time I got off them was just as harrowing as the first. The only difference was that the first go round my entire body jerked and convulsed. The second time, I didn't convulse. Instead, I had hip and leg pain that I literally could not tolerate. It felt like someone was twisting my muscles. It was brutal, and I landed in the ER quite a few times. I told them I was withdrawing from Benzos and I had aka and that is what was wrong with my hip. They acted like I was being melodramatic, and was an opiate addict. They refused to see me the last time I went. Nothing would touch the pain. That went on for about three months. I'd say I was full blown aka for about 3 months each time, so a total of 6 months. I've been off all meds again for about 8 months. I still have mild aka or I get flare ups, but I was lucky enough to find amanitadreamer.net and I watched her video on how she healed herself with amanita muscaria ( mushroom ) . She had severe protracted aka just like me and healed herself overnight. I gave it a try and it worked. It stopped the mental terror/torment. One of the active compounds in the mushroom is muscimol. It works on GABA receptors. Pharmaceutical companies used muscimol to make benzos. They had to chemicalize it to patent it. They know it's naturally occurring but they had to monetize it. I literally could not handle one more second of aka. I feel very blessed to be where I am today. That mushroom saved me. Bless you. Plz hang on. Watch her video plz

This is sufficient evidence to make this substance illegal and the doctors held liable for willful neglect
@Lyra0966
@Lyra0966 11 месяцев назад
It isn't simply neglect or ignorance. Many doctors receive bonuses or other 'perks' for prescribing these drugs. The entire system has been corrupted by money. The drugs companies themselves now write the diagnostic manuals that inform the doctors who write these prescriptions. So of course they recommend use of these pernicious drugs for as wide a range of psychiatric disturbances as possible. And what would happen if there was a massive, global supply-chain disruption and suddenly tens, if not hundreds, of millions of people could not access their 'medications'? It's the stuff of nightmares.

I see a lot of different doses.. It was told to me that 1 mg was the lowest dose made. Told me to cut it in half. As I went through what I know now is tolerance withdrawal... They kept upping my dose. 4 mgs. I don't even remember anything from that time. 'bout 3 years.. gone. All in all I've lost 15 years of my life and Klonopin still is affecting me even though I haven't taken any in 4yrs

@@tinastanley4444 yeah no problem I'm glad it helped you. My doctor told me about it. He's studied brain chemistry for 35 years he also actually beleives me when I tell him about my benzo injury. Most doctors don't. He Said he gonna set up a office to specifically help people like us that are suffering threw this. It gives me hope to know that doctors are starting to see the truth about this. What we are going threw is literally a injury done to our gaba receptors wich go threw our our brain threw out our nervous system. The reason it takes so long to heal is. Cause those specific receptors take very long to rebuild. Anything like exorsize, even just a walk, an if you skip dinner everyday it supposedly helps you heal faster. It's a type of fast. Also eating healthy is important. And the most important thing is to get closer to God. Read the word an pray pray Pray. Jesus christ gives us hope because he died for us an rose on the 3rd day , so thst we can be set free from our sins. All you gotta do is confess your sins to Jesus bsleive on him an youll have everlasting life. It's about having faith an receiving the gift of salvation like a child receives a gift. With faith an with a glad an humble heart.

Thx for sharing. Although it's obviously not your fault in any way, but the question came to my mind why you didn't inform yourself regarding the meds? We have so many possibilities these days to get information and learn about almost anything, so, a quick Google search probably would have been enough to make you question the idea of taking this medication longer than a few weeks max...

Desperation from wanting relief from anxiety. An then doctors manipulating people into thinking it's safe. Its not as simple as it may seem to look up the medicine. Am not only that benzos don't make you feel so good that you think there that addictive. When I took venzos I didn't care if they were addictive. But I never thought In a million years it was possible to withdrawl for years from a pill. The real question is why do doctors prescrobe a drug 30 tomes longer then thrre supposed to knowing it can put you in withdrawal fir up to 6 yesrs?nobody thinks about the possibility of withdrawing for years before they take the medicine.
