Benzodiazepine Withdrawal: Depression 

Warning: I do mention the word and concept of suicide in this video, so please do not watch if you feel it might be overwhelming to hear.
I wanted to do a video offering my perspective and experience of depression in benzodiazepine withdrawal, as well as to normalize it and to offer hope. I have found it to be a symptom of withdrawal that is not discussed or acknowledged nearly enough. I discuss depression as a form of depletion as well as the more chemically "driven" depression that can often feel like a "dark force." Just remember, this is a moment in time. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but it sure can be a very long tunnel. Keep swimming!
