Moroccan carpets are prized for their beauty and can fetch hundreds of dollars in stores. But little of that money ends up in the hands of the women who spend months weaving the carpets. Solana Pyne reports for VOA.
It really is a shame that these women aren't getting the profits of their hard work! This should be showed all around so that people can travel to where the rugs are being sold directly by the women. Not only will the women profit, but the rugs will be cheaper because they have cut the middle-man out!
