Berdly The Defrosted - A Deltarune Fan Game (Create Your Kris) 

Guess I'll give an update since it's my most watched video lol. For those of you who want me to polish it, I "might" make another version that fixes some of the bugs, and maybe add some additional dialogue/death cutscene, but honestly it took me so long to understand how Create Your Kris worked, that by the end I kind of just decided to throw what I had together. I heard a couple people said they wanted to remake my fight, and I would actually love to see that, so long as you credit the music (link in description). Potassium

Overall it's very cool, but I would change berdly's sprite for fan made defrosted one that circles through internet, and make his attacks harder!

In snowgrave noelle doesn’t use her normal animations. Almost all of them are changed and the originals definitely wouldn’t have been used in this fight. Also she leaves immediately after frosting berdly and she’s probably become so numb that she wouldn’t notice berdly coming back to life

I like the little detail where berdly smiles when he says that gamers respawn. I love it

This looks great! Though it needs some fixes, he dosent have that much attacks, and noelles damage stays white instead of yellow, other than that, its great!

This fight defiantly needs more polish. I think the attacks should really be updated to be completely new patterns since the attacks we right now are just linear and nonsmooth versions of Berdly's normal attacks. Berdly also repeats dialogue quite often, I think a better thing to do would be to give him specific lines to say as the fight goes on, Noelle's animations could also be improved. This fight does have good potential though.

Very cool, feels more like a recreation of the Berdly fight instead of a "new" fight but its still very cool.

Ignore the people who constantly just say it requires polish . I think this mod is perfectly fine for someone who just grasped CYK. Of course, whether or not you want to add on to it is up to you, but don't let the "feedback" discourage you

Hmm, some criticism for this fight... 1°) Berdly's design should be altered in some way shape or form. (Although the recreation of the Undertale/Deltarune engine is impressive, not 100% accurate but still impressive). 2°) Noelle shouldn't be there, there's no reason for her to be there. 3°) These seems like a really early effort in regards of deltarune fangames, so yeah it's pretty neat (it's easier than the original berdly fight, but designing a fight in create your kris should be tricky). 4°) Berdly should keep his traits while also getting serious, the dialogue we have works but it feel's a wee bit too derivative of Undyne the Undying (since you seem to be going for something similar, obviously).

ngl this is nice, but i kinda wish the music was a remix of berdly's theme instead of the queen's theme. that's my only complaint tho so it's still nice

this seems like an interesting concept but there could be a lot of improvements. for starters: Berdley doesn't feel tired or hurt after literally almost dying. I would change his behaviors to show that he's hurt and change his sprite to something else. Second of all: Noelle feels almost nothing after casting her spell, in fact she says nothing. I would change this to make her aknowledge that she hurt Berdley and make her a bit weak but also not able to control herself. She doesn't know how to apologize to Berdley or how to continue, in fact she may be a deadweight for the rest of the fight if you want. I reccomend changing most if not all of the dialogue to reflect a somber tone. I would change the music to something way more somber with Berdley being hurt. The music, as of now, is a freaking banger! but i would have this music play near the end of the fight where berdley pulls out all the stops (then collapses/dies of exhaustion). For the actual fighting itself I would reccomend some kind of slower, seemingly weaker versions of berdleys attacks except they deal WAY MORE dammage. I would also have some attacks be a kind of fusion of ice attacks with him being defrosted and all (like some of his attacks have ice elements to them, like icecicles on objects and stuff that extend attack range). If you really wanted to you could have an extra attack type for the fight that would freeze the player in place for a few seconds, but this is kind of a stretch. Overall good start to a fan game but so much more could be done

it would be cool to have a thing where its possible to exceeded 100% tp if you gain to much, and when you get to 200 tp you get to the iciclegrave/thorngrave/original, snow grave 200 tp "the original snow grave, no pricks needed" referring to how snowgrave was originaly 200 tp, but i dont know how create your frisk is so i cant say anything

Ok but hear me out. His attacks being easy makes perfect sense. This isn't an undyne the undying situation where undyne got a massive power boost from determination. Berdly is a gamer. Even if he respawns, he's not any stronger. He's not any better. If anything he's just salty he lost.

If you ask me, Berdly shouldn’t up and say “no” I think it should be in the lines of this: *….n…… *…..n……o….. *…n..o. *…I…..c..a..n..t… *I…wo..nt… *I..I.. *I REFUSE!!! *Like many things, gamers don’t die… *We respawn. *Like that say… *Out of the freezer… *AND INTO THE FRIER!!! *Snowflakes riddle the air, but so do grades.

Attack ideas for defrosted chicken in this video. Attack 1: the 4 tornado are twice as fast and reverse back. This repeats 3 times. Attack 2: the papers spawning outside the box are slightly faster and he doubles the amount of them fired at once. Attack 3: the mini gun attack comes out quicker and it tracks your soul. Berdly then unleashes 2 of them at a time in the infinity sign going sideways off screen. Attack 4: Berdly summons papers same way undying uses circle spears but double speed. Attack 5: Berdly makes a giant blue tornado going back and forth in the box while unleashing lightning strikes that track your soul before firing in that spot every second. (Thunder is linked with storms / winds) Attack 6: papers spawn outside the box and move at the same spead as your soul into the centre before dispersing in a circle pattern quickly. FINAL MOVE: Alpha Storm This move will only be used if Berdly is beat. The box enlarges to a giant size Papers disperse from the centre at high speeds in the same circle motion. Lightning strikes are twice as fast If u survive all that Berdly charges all of his remaining power into his haliberd and deals an undodgable critical strike that leaves you and Noelle at 0.001 hp. (The box gets smaller before the strike) if you have any suggestions or critisism let me know.

Personally, I like the name Berdly the Betrayed better but it's personal preference!

It is great BUT it could use some brand new spites for berdly and and a second theme for phase 2

I have a suggestion: For his final attack he has the spear things out of the box, but the tiny spear things come out and target Kris, doing 40 damage each time Kris is hit, while Berdly uses his homework attack as well

Just some mine ideas for hardening the attacks if you want to use them: Cycle of attacks are: Halberd, Tornado, Tornado 2, A+ papers, Halberd 2, Tornado 3, then increases the difficulty by one and repeats the cycle. Halberd: the same as the one in normal fight. At difficulty 0 (first cycle), projectiles after the burst are the same as in Snowgrave. At difficulty 1, the distance between projectiles are smaller. At difficulty 2, the box is smaller and the burst is bigger. Tornado: the same one used on the coaster fight. At difficulty 0, they are the same as on coaster, but with 5 lanes instead. At difficulty 1, tornadoes are faster, and gain momentum the more they move. At difficulty 2, tornadoes come from both directions, and sometimes bounce off walls. Tornado 2 (the one that turns the box 45°): at difficulty 0, same as in original fight, but with bigger box. At difficulty 1, the tornadoes are created faster, but move slower. At difficulty 2, the tornadoes are created even faster, move even slower, and the box slowly shrinks, reaching half its difficulty 0 size at the end of attack. A+ papers: the bigger difficulty, the smaller the box is and the more there are papers. No additional perks. Halberd 2: On difficulty 0, every 2.5 seconds a burst is made, but not leaving projectiles. On difficulty 1, two bursts are created at once, covering different areas. On difficulty 2, burst travel much quicker than usual, and leave a few single-sided projectiles. Tornado 3: has only difficulty 2 variant. On one side of the screen, an giant tornado appears, very slowly moving towards the other edge. Tornado 1 projectiles are created, intensifying in speed during the attack. After the tornado reaches 75% of the screen, the attack ends, and Berdly's defence lowers to 0, making him an instakill. After Berdly's HP reaches 60%, the attack difficulty is set to 1 and Berdly increases his defence and attack. After Berdly's HP reaches 30%, the attack difficulty is set to 2 and Berdly increases his defence and attack once more. After Berdly's HP reaches 5%, the attack pattern is skipped to the Tornado 3. If Berdly dies before Tornado 3, he gets healed to 1%. Congarts or reading this.
