I loved your film. My dad was born in Rerrin. You spoke to my sister when you were on the island. I spent many summers on the island. I moved to Germany in 1986.

Hi. Thank you. There are two ferries to Bere Island. Murphys ferry sails from Pontoon Pier and another ferry goes from Castletown harbour. They are very regular and two routes from Pontoon Pier. I brought my car and the bikes via Murphys ferry from Pontoon. No booking necessary. Check their site on the internet….. Murphy’s Ferry Services to Bere Island. The family who run the ferry have a holiday complex on Bere. Bere Island lodges. You can of course camp on the island. It’s a marvellous place to trek and cycle but be prepared for hills. Jim
